Yearbooks Online
1920--1960
East Bridgewater High School yearbooks online
First things first
People delve into the past for many reasons--to learn about a relative, to study changes in a culture over time, to reminisce. Digitization projects like this bring local treasures to a wider audience, including people who don't have access to a research library or lack time and money to travel to museums and libraries. If accessing these yearbooks online helps you or brings joy, I'd love to hear your story. Carrie Tucker (ctucker@ebps.net)
The Torch 1960-2009
Digitization was federally funded with a grant from the Library Services and Technology Act through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and administered by Boston Public Library. Yearbooks were completed in two waves: in 2011--the first school library project in Massachusetts under this grant--and in 2014.
The files are hosted by Internet Archive, a global internet library with backup files in locations around the world. Internet Archive is dedicated to offering permanent electronic access to historical collections as a means of cultural preservation.

Student's Pen 1920-1959
Before 1960, seniors were featured in graduation issues of the Student's Pen, an EBHS publication . Though these booklets resemble modern yearbooks only slightly, they do offer a unique look into East Bridgewater's rich history. Enjoy!
