Collection

The library offers over 14,000 books and other materials to support the curriculum of East Bridgewater Junior Senior High School and also to encourage reading for pleasure. Search our catalog. Everyone in our school community is invited and encouraged to borrow library materials. We lend for two weeks, but if you need more time, just ask. If we do not have what you are looking for, please let us know. We can show you how to request materials from other libraries and have them delivered to ours.

Computers

We have limited computers available for student use. As you might expect, anyone using school technology must abide by the East Bridgewater Public School Acceptable Use Policy.

It’s midnight, and your assignment is due tomorrow!

Procrastinating is never a good plan, but it may be comforting to know help is here. Many of your library resources can be accessed 24/7. Take advantage of online databases, which include encyclopedias, newspapers, journals, reference books, and more. Search for and request print materials at East Bridgewater Junior Senior High School as well as over 70 other libraries belonging to SAILS, your local library network. Deliveries arrive Tuesday and Thursday.

Classes in the library

Faculty members are encouraged to reserve space and time for class visits. If convenient, please share the assignment. I can help faculty and students by providing relevant materials, presenting related online resources, and guiding students as they learn needed library skills.

Summer enrichment reading

We work closely with the ever-supportive people at East Bridgewater Public Library to assure students have easy access to summer reading in July and August.

Photocopier/printer and school supplies

Boris--the beloved library copier/printer/workhorse--retired in the spring. A flashy cool new machine--as yet unnamed--is available to students and staff for school use. Stapler, tape, rulers, pens and pencils, paper, glue, three-hole punch, paper cutter, and markers are usually at hand. Just ask.

Newspapers

Many newspapers are also available electronically through NewsBank and other databases.

Volunteering

We love student volunteers!
