In my Offset Printmaking class we have just begun working on a four-color separation project. I will be creating a full-color print of the photograph above-left – Poás Volcano, Costa Rica – using just four plates and four colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. The image above-right shows my progress thus far! I'm tracing the image onto frosted mylar using graphite and india ink. I've created a new page for the project where you can learn more about the four-color separation process and view the project at its different stages. I've also updated the navigation from the "Prints" category, including a page each about Lithography and Typography.
I've also updated the project descriptions under The Dream of the Rood.
