We are pleased to announce that we will be putting together an All-Women Team to compete at both Pikes Peak and Mt Washington’s Climb to the Clouds this year. It will be the first time in history that an all-women team competed at both events. We are looking for mechanical crew, media personnel and someone to be the house manager, handling logistics, transport and food prep.
My husband and I are a grassroot racing team called Frog Racing with a large social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and we are active in promoting women in motorsports. I currently hold the record for fastest woman up Mt Washington and this year, I have clinched the New England Hillclimb Association Championship in rally class.
We have built, we believe to be the first and only 2007 Audi RS4 fully caged rally and hillclimb car! We have been testing it out at local hillclimbs in New England, and even took it to Canada for a regional stage rally as car 0. Our goal is to race it up Pikes Peak and Mt Washington in 2026. If you are a woman and interested in joining our team, we would love to explore a collaborating relationship with you.
Pikes Peak is a week-long event starting with tech on June 15th, with daily activities and practice days, some requiring waking up at 3 am until final racing day on June 21st. They don’t call it hell week for nothing, but the event itself is truly epic and energizing. You’ll meet a ton of people!
Mt Washington, also known as Climb to the Clouds is the oldest of the hillclimbs and many say it is more challenging with a narrow road and infamous weather which features the world’s highest wind speeds and frequent abrupt and severe weather changes. This is a much shorter event with only 2 days of practice before raceday on August 9th. You’ll meet a ton of people here as well!
Right now, we are recruiting energetic and talented women to join our team as Mechanics, Media and Management. We are actively seeking sponsorship donors to help us reach our financial goals to make the Frog Racing Women in Motorsports Team successful. The details haven’t been completely worked out yet but believe me, we are working on this!
Frog Racing will definitely cover lodging and the majority of food expenses for the event. However, we haven’t yet secured funding to provide full transportation to and from the events.
Remember, Motorsports can be dangerous and you'll have to sign waivers for liability. There will be down time to attend various aspects of the events like Fan Fest, and of course meet other teams in the service area! We need you to be present for the entire duration of the event and participate to all media activities.
The preferred method to apply is to complete the online form at : https://forms.gle/U51XuHvj3bvXMeci7
You can also reach out to us at Frog Racing by emailing wim@frogracing.us and provide your contact information and what your interests are in joining the team. This is in no way a confirmation of your commitment.
Currently, there is no application deadline as we are not sure how long it will take to complete the team. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and identify as female. Selected applicants will be notified by email.
