Andrew Leete (1731-1808) B1,0066

Andrew Leete is of significance for two reasons. First, he was a crown sympathizer during the Revolutionary War. After the War he left with all but one of his family to homestead in Nova Scotia Canada, thus "founding" a significant branch of the family's tree. Second, through Vi James many years of research, we have a unusually dense historical record of the life of a Tory during the 1770s and 1780s.
