Assyrian Speech Lessons
Foundation Level Book 1 - Instructor Manual
Fourth Edition (Oct. 2015) (358 Pages)
This book helps instructors to teach their students to introduce themselves and others, tell their name, place of birth, nationality, occupation, personality traits and their physical appearance, by using the Simple Present tense of the verb “to be”. It covers many names of persons, continents, countries, and cities; as well as occupations, nationalities, and the most commonly used masculine, feminine and plural adjectives. Its approach is based on hearing and repeating, the method by which we learn our mother tongue; therefore the teacher is expected to initiate the lessons and act as mentor. Each exercise covers a list of suitable vocabulary, the teacher may use all or a selective number of them depending on the ability of the students. The mini dictionary at the end of the book will help teachers to use additional words if necessary.

Assyrian Speech Lessons
Foundation Level Book 1 - Student Manual
Second Edition (Oct. 2015) (460 Pages)
This book, the first of four books teaching Assyrian speech in Foundation Level, enables students to introduce themselves and others, tell their name, place of birth, nationality, occupation, personality traits and their physical appearance, by using the Simple Present tense of the verb “to be”. It covers many names of persons, continents, countries, and cities; as well as occupations, nationalities, and the most commonly used masculine, feminine and plural adjectives. It is not a self-teaching book as its approach is based on hearing and repeating, the method by which we learn our mother tongue; therefore a teacher is needed to initiate the lessons and act as mentor. Students may use this book in conjunction with the online speech course since it follows closely the oral lessons.
