Assyrian Children's Illustrated Dictionary
or
The book of Assyrian Alphabet and Numbers
(2011) (259 pages)
This book teaches the Assyrian alphabet and numbers to children of 3 to 6 years of age. It is very important to teach the correct rules of writing the alphabet so that the children may develop a beautiful handwriting. Since the alphabet represent numbers as well, it is quite straight forward to teach numbers while teaching the letters. With each letter a collection of words starting with that letter are taught through pictures that children may wish to colour. The book includes a mini dictionary where the meaning of the words is explained so that teachers and parents would be able to explain the vocabulary to the children. This book contains about 600 words taken from Oraham and Sarmas dictionaries.
