The Wilson at Cheltenham

Edward Wilson, like William, was on both Scott's expeditions. He is seen by many as the man who, through his loyalty, reliability and faith, underpinned the ethos of the teams. He was born in Cheltenham where there is a museum named after him. The Wilson Museum & Art Gallery has many general exhibits and paintings but also contains a special exhibition about Wilson and holds many of his paintings and photographs relating to his life.
