Contact and directions

By Car:

You can find our house under Laporte (street), Durfort (city) in your navigator and it will take you directly to our house. You can get a route map from www.mappy.com or www.routeplanner.com please look it up carefully and have a route map just in case, as its not always easy to find.

We will send you a pin by mobile before you travel to us. There are several tolls along route, we recommend you apply for a motorway payment scheme so you can travel through the fast lanes without stopping. We also recommend the forest parks on route when you dont need petrol, as they are lovely places to stretch your legs and get some fresh air on route.

From the A20 direction Toulouse, take the A64 Tarbes/Lourdes, exit 28 Capens. Take the D919 to St. Sulplice, direction FOIX. Pass Lezat, on roundabout take left direction Pamiers. Stay on that road, don't take St.Ybars exit, you should pass Villeneuve-du-Latou.

One or two kilometres further, turn left direction Saverdun. DO NOT go into Durfort village we are closer to Esplas than Durfort village.

You will see a turn off to the right where three road join (5 mins before you get to Justiniac), there is a map of the house names, (as pictured to the right) this shows you where our house can be located. Keep on that road until you pass a farm on the right with a wind turbine, just before the sign for Lostalot turn right and our house it the second on the left down a long driveway. We have put up signs on route to help you. Good luck and take it easy for wildlife and on the corners, French drivers generally steer on the wrong side of the road:)

By Train:

There are international trains that take you to Toulouse which are getting better routes all the time. You can even take an overnight train from Paris which takes you all the way to Saverdun which is 15 mins from our house. If you are planning to come without a car, contact us if there is an option for us to pick you up and hire a car locally.

By Air:

Just a tip: we are only 3.5 hours drive from Barcelona, so some people take a flight there, hire a car and come to us before or after. Or:

• • Carcassonne is 75 mins drive from Laporte. Ryan Air fly from Britain, Eindhoven and Brussels Charleroi.

  • Toulouse airport is a 60 mins drive to Laporte, and receives flights from KLM Air France, and Easy Jet.
