Outreach

Interfacing with the community is an important endeavor to science. You can always check out what CBL is doing in terms of outreach here. Specifically in our lab, we have the following projects moving forward:

• Tiny Bubbles Mentoring Project
• Working with a local high school teacher to build a "ROV in a box". ROV's, or remotely operated vehicles, are essential tools for ocean research, so the idea of this project is to bring ROV technology to the next generation of scientists. This project is modeled after the C-DEBI's ROV outreach project where they build ROVs with local schools to bring the ocean world that much closer to the minds of kids. We'll keep you posted as this project progresses.
