This project focuses on labor force mobility and societal cohesion in Europe. Process of globalization entails more skilled labor force mobility for sustained economic growth and employment. Besides economic benefits of mobility ıt also raises societal cohesion, values orientation and employment problems.
Studies will promote the mobility of the workforce and work to eliminate the obstacles in front of labor mobility and societal cohesion such as socio cultural and values differences, social inequalities, disparities in living conditions, communication problems and lack of some basic skills.
Project activities will be planned to develop skills, knowledge and attitudes that help prepare pupils for tomorrow's world of work and facilitate youth’s integration into European community. Therefore training of young people will directly contribute positive effects on orientation of values and societal cohesion. Social counseling, vocational guidance will be done for students and they will be encouraged to entrepreneurship.
For better relations between European and partner countries, social researches will be primary goal of this project. Environmental concerns, traditions, beliefs, social institutions, way of lives of people, social, moral values of communities, job opportunities will be researched.
Finally, this project will help students and educational staff better understand the range of European cultures, languages and values, provide students, parents, teachers a real change of environment, new personal horizons, daily contact with a different culture, the ideal opportunity to learn a new language, the chance to enjoy meeting or studying alongside people from different backgrounds, exchanging ideas and comparing experiences.
The goal of the European Union is to create a community with the more and the better jobs and sustainable economic growth with social cohesion that can have the world’s most competitive and dynamic knowledge based-economy. But the goal has not been reached yet. To achieve this goal, Young people our common source of labor should be trained to meet European and community’s needs. In Europe, all young people are expected to understand basic skills of the ICT technology, have digital competence , could learn and speak at least one foreign language, they work as a team, can easily adapt to changes in the decision-making and problem-solve, communicate both written and oral.
As a result of rapid and continuous development of technology,the rapid development of mass media such as radio,television,fax, and Internet has dramatically increased the flow of information and has accelerated employment in these areas. Therefore, social movements enforce the cultures pass through national borders become global identity. Thus, the multi-functional labor with leaders and administrative staff will become the most important determinants of global production. As a result of globalization, the need for mobility of labor with social harmony is increasing in Europe. It is necessary to remove barriers such as communication, language, culture clash, and environmental in front of the labor mobility and voluntary mobility and promote the social counselling, vocational guidance, language learning and training of values orientation.
That is common belief, as well as the capacity and experience of the schools is not enough to develop these competencies. Therefore, we need to encourage lifelong learning, continue to do in different areas, promote to work alongside people from different backgrounds. There are so many different groups in the community. Social situations affect the overall level of social cohesion. There is a direct negative association between social inequality and social cohesion. By providing participation of students in project activities and mobility that has poor socio-economic status; disadvantages of students will be changed into an advantage. This project will carry learning environment out of classroom. A tie will be established between school and business world. Thus, project activities will be applied in different communities, social institutions, and business areas and in daily life. This Project throughout the project after its implementation will be able to promote the acquisition and maintaining of key competences such as digital competence, communication in other Europe language, cultural awareness, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.
The other most important objective of this project is to promote training of the teachers, school leaders and other school staffs to acquire some key competences. This training process includes entrepreneurship, vocational guidance, innovative ICT-based skills, project management, personal, pedagogical and leadership skills. Entrepreneurship is not included in all parts of the education systems. Entrepreneurship education covers creativity, innovation and risk taking, and the ability to plan and manage projects in order to achieve objectives. Thus, Entrepreneurship has a vital importance for lifelong learning. Entrepreneurship is not only about the job creation, but also enhances upward mobility, develops social leadership, increases individuals’ self-confidence, thus teachers will be able to open schools to the outside world via this project.
OBJECTIVES:
To facilitate the acquisition of skills needed for labor mobility and social cohesion.
To raise awareness about the benefits of mobility experiences, specifically in the area of societal, creating a "culture of mobility.
To enhance creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship, at all levels of education and training raising participation in lifelong learning, including skills development.
To train and support a more diverse student population, including ‘second-chance’ learners, students from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
To promote learning foreign language and improving innovative ICT skills.
To identify professional Qualifications for European employability strategies.
SUBJECTIVES AND PROBLEMS:
This project focuses on some issues in front of the labor mobility and societal cohesion, these are language and communication problems, adaptation to another culture, fear of losing own values and lack of some skills.
APPROACHES:
Students will be actively involved in all stages of project and be directed into group work. Activities will be focused on group work activity ‘Building Rapport’, Group work enhances the quality of relationship between participants and enables them to understand each other and respond to the problems easily. Group activities will be hold for exploring benefit hearing new ideas, exchanging ideas, learning from others, solving problems and promote opportunity communicate in English or in other languages. Participating students will be encouraged to co-operate ,to research information relevant for target subject by the way they will manage the collation and presentation of this information, via e-mail, website, booklet and magazine.
To raise awareness and improve knowledge about social cohesion and values orientation, Ice-breakers and warm up activities will be planed and performed before mobility to create positive atmosphere in the group. These activities help to wipe out such immediate worries, concerns, breakdown stereotypes and prejudice and foster a climate of trust and group cohesion. All partners will prepare some activities and organization such as cultural, traditional, art, exhibition; visiting includes environment, workplace, workshop, factory and institutions civil or official business, family, museums, religious and holy places. These activities will improve understanding of cultures, societal and moral values and reduce the culture clash.
This project will create ideal opportunities for students and teachers who come from different socio-economic cultures and different backgrounds to live together, respect to each other’s ,to spend a period of time in another European society so that they can further their own education and training, acquire social experience and develop their foreign language skills. Project activities help them to respect to values, trust in other people and in societal institutions, and acquire feelings of solidarity, a sense of belonging to the same community and a common identity. They will taste different cultures and respect to diversity, by the way societal cohesion and values orientation will be facilitated and established by developing mutual understanding, trustful relations and effective communication. Societal cohesion is considered as source of sustainable economic growth. Societal cohesion reduces some problems such as inequality, discrimination and unemployment and other risks... For sustainable economic growth and better societal cohesion, Europe needs better skilled and more adaptable labor mobility. But our students who are common source of our future are missing some of the skills and knowledge such as ICT, digital and language competence, entrepreneurship; they don’t have enough information about work of world, professional Career Guidance, Job strategy of Europe. Project activities will prepare students for working together as European citizens in future's world of work and will facilitate the acquisition of skills needed for labor mobility and social cohesion. Therefore, this project is very important to ensure the integration of the younger generation to Europe.
This projects helps students get information about strategic goals of European Union and will help teachers and pupils broaden their horizons about labor mobility and European citizenship. This project will respond to the needs of labor mobility in Europe. Teachers, students will learn factors of labor mobility, main barriers and triggers to labor mobility within Europe. The pathway to employment starts with Education, for many young people, this pathway from education to employment is not easy.
Project activities give a chance students to realize their potential and to develop their skills (ICT skills, Digital competence, communication skills, creativity, innovation..) and participate actively in different societies. By visiting business area, workshops and social institutions, this project provides young people obtain practical experience and acquire conscious of business ethics and social responsibility. We believe that with this partnership we will be able to improve the main areas listed above and that those will be the key to change the attitude of our youth, to provide them better skills at work, business and social life, and promote values orientation and social cohesion. While we are working seriously involved in their education focused on their future working life.
Social activities, group work, discussion, questionnaires, interviews, chatting on social media, web page workings will increase the motivation of language learning and raise awareness of foreign languages. By the way language barriers will be removed.
This project will connect people from all corners of the Europe and give opportunity to be aware of European cultural, values. Project activities help participants to recognize common values and a civic culture, social order and social control, social solidarity and social networks. Thus cultural barriers will be removed.
The project will develop new methods, strategies, pedagogical materials and other type of supportive material for training more skilled young people. Teachers, school leaders and other school staffs will acquire transversal key competences - such as learning to learn, entrepreneurship, social, civic and cultural competences and diversity managing skills. School will establish network between school and business life, school opens window out of own world.
