The Key Word Sign Basic Workshop has been endorsed as a registered professional development course by NESA (Formerly BOSTES Board of Studies Teaching and Educational Standards).
Teachers can count attendance at a Key Word Sign Basic Workshop towards MAINTAINING their accreditation at the level of PROFICIENT TEACHER. KWS Basic Workshops cannot count towards attaining accreditation, nor for teachers at the level of Highly Accomplished or Lead Level. To enable participants to claim their attendance towards accreditation, please follow this process. Should you require assistance, please contact KWS NSW at committee@kwsnsw.com.
Procedure for presenters:
KWS Presenter identifies that participants will be claiming attendance as part of NESA requirements.
Run the KWS Basic Workshop.
Collect the following from each participant who wishes to claim BOSTES accreditation: Name, School, Accreditation number
Enter these details in the form below.
The form should be sent within 2 weeks post workshop to allow data to be entered.
Compile the evaluations and send to KWS NSW
