What is the role of a sign tutor and when do I need one?
A sign tutor is a person who may help at a KWS Basic Workshop, in addition to a KWS Presenter at any basic workshop. Sign tutors may go on to become KWS presenters and being a sign tutor is great experience prior to undertaking KWS Presenter Training. A sign tutor should be available at a KWS Workshop when there are more than 15 participants. At times, participants who undertake Presenter Training may be asked to consolidate their skills by sign tutoring before progressing to their supervised workshop. See information on sign tutors in workshop resources for further information.
