Section Leader and Assistant Section Leader
Help coordinate the delivery of the Scout's youth program to one of the five sections:
Joeys (5 – 8 yrs) ... focus is on fun, discovery and friendship
Cubs (8 – 11 yrs) ... action, adrenalin, adventure
Scouts (11 – 15 yrs) ... outdoor skills, leadership & youth-led adventures
Venturers (15 – 18 yrs) ... personal growth & life-changing experiences
Rovers (18 – 25 yrs) ... seize new opportunities, gain independence, expect the unexpected
Section leaders help plan and deliver youth program activities on a weekly basis and are available to participate in weekend adventurous activities.
Supporters and Volunteers
Serve on the Group Support Committee and help make decisions about investments in the program and maintenance of the Scout Den
Help with recruitment and development of adult volunteers
Look after, and organise, the camping and activity equipment
Support the section leaders with youth membership and recording their achievements
Volunteer to do social media, fundraising and grants, and general duties.
We are looking for people with patience and kindness to help grow a strong, supportive group that is 100% run by volunteers.
