Venue Hire

The Kurilpa Scout Den is available for regular or ad hoc hire. The Den is on the corner of Villa Street and Park Road in picturesque Yeronga Memorial Park

The Den is equipped with kitchen, central activity area, raised and curtained stage. The Den has fans but is not air-conditioned.

Toilets are located outside of the den, and parking can be arranged on the grounds.

The hire fee is approximately $30 per hour - subject to negotiation.

Composting Hub

We operate a Community Composting Hub from the Kurilpa Scout Group Den.

Turn kitchen scraps into nutrients for soil and access compost for use in your garden.

Register online with Brisbane City Council to be involved and you might get a free kitchen caddy to transport your scraps!.

Containers for Change

Kurilpa is committed to supporting recycling and the environment.

Use scheme ID C10003762 when cashing in your containers to donate to the Kurilpa Scout Group.

Sausage sizzle fundraisers

Have BBQ can travel.

Contact us at gl.kurilpa@scoutsqld.au to discuss a Kurilpa sausage sizzle / activity stall or other fundraising activity at community events.

The Kurilpa Scout Group acknowledges the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science and Department of Environment and Energy’s Solar Communities Program which has provided a grant for the installation of solar at the Scout Den.
