We’re looking for community minded volunteers. Whatever your skills, experience and interests, we can find a role for you.
To join our team of volunteers at Kurilpa Scout Group, no experience is necessary as training and support are provided:
develop leadership skills and experience new adventures with the support of Scouts Australia — qualifications available
a variety of volunteer roles and opportunities are available for up to 5 hours per month

We help build strong, inclusive communities.
Our youth members actively engage with the local community in events like Anzac Day and Clean Up Australia Day, and we often assist in community events and fetes. All of our adult members are community minded volunteers.
The Kurilpa Scout Den can be hired for community events, our composting hub is available to the public and we offer a container collection service. See what Scouts can do for you here.
Our youth program
Our trained leaders deliver a weekly program of activities + occasional special weekend events aligned to the state school term.
Our Scouts ‘learn by doing'. Inclusive, active and fun activities are offered for girls and boys across five sections:
