KT:architectural has recently gained building control approval for this project in M40.

When my Clients' grown up children began leaving home to begin their own independent lives my Clients decided to reconvert the additional ground floor Bedroom and Study to recreate the former Garage, whilst retaining the Study.

The property had been altered by a previous owner to provide additional internal accomodation within the former garage and extended the ground floor porch area to create an open plan living room, removing the former porch. My Clients wanted to reinstate both the former Garage and Porch to meet their current living requirements. The project required a building regulations application for which I prepared proposal drawings and a detailed specification. Some internal remediation works have been completed and the conversion work will take place later this spring.
