Welcome to week 7 of 8!
This is our last week to work on chapter content, can you believe it? It’s all gone so fast. I’m very proud of you all who have stuck with it. You’ve done a lot of work in a very short amount of time and you’ve really done great. Two days ago, I sent out an email preparing you for the last week of class. Keep those dates in mind. You should sign up for the oral interview as soon as you can and begin preparing. This week though, we’ll focus in on chapter 11.
Tuesday Night’s Collaborate meeting: 11.1.1 Unplanned events will be our topic. We will also have time to look at chapter 11 vocabulary items, so come prepared to work on your vocabulary skills. Also bring any other questions that I can answer for you that night, grammatical or otherwise. There should be time to get to everything. Thursday Night’s in-class meeting: We will cover more vocabulary from chapter 11, review vocabulary from chapters 6-11 and take a look at Por versus para. Here's a link to the live stream of the meeting: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/yc-spa-102-summer-2012
Keep in mind that the assignments tab for chapter 11 is somewhat expanded. I have included links to the listening exam, the story bird assignment, oral interview review materials, and final exam review materials. All content must be turned in by the last day of class, which is Saturday night, July 28th.
Just keep plugging along mis queridos amigos. Yo sé que ustedes lo pueden hacer, con un poquito de esfuerzo.
