June 11-16 (ch. 6)
Hey amigos. This week we will be working on the "ch. 6" tab. You should already have finished the "getting started" house keeping mumbo jumbo and now you are ready to begin. You have your online Spanish workbook set up and ready to use, and you have already sent comments to our class via Twitter and Voxopop. Good for you. Now, before our online meeting on Tuesday, you need to, at least, watch the videos for grammar points 6.1.1 Saber vs. Conocer and 6.2.1 direct objects. We will work on these topics in class and I will be there to answer your questions. Here's the link to Tuesday's meeting: https://sas.elluminate.com/m.jnlp?sid=2011308&password=M.8CC509A14B719DCB1EC7C253DC16A9
Before class on Thursday you should watch the videos for 6.3.1 Indefinite and negative words; 6.4.1 formal commands; 6.5.1 Vocabulary from ch. 6. We will work on activities in class and I will be answering questions. This class is in person, but you can follow it on Ustream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/yc-spa-102-summer-2012 .
I have created an "Archived meetings" page where you can follow meetings from Tuesdays and Thursdays that you miss.
I will likely not have office hours on Monday of this week, but Wednesdays I will have normal office hours (see the "communicate" page under the "other" tab), and if you need any help let me know and we can meet in Collaborate at another time.
Don't forget, Saturday by 5pm you should have everything in the chapter 6 tab completed. Get a move on! You can do it!
Son buenos ustedes. Adelante, y que aprendan mucho! mAndenme preguntas!
