A Word of Advise - This article is intended for individual study, research, observations, investigation and conclusions, and not to compel the reader of or force anything presented here. A person might find it completely opposite or out of line to the beliefs or the viewpoint one holds about the world, earth and the surroundings. All readers are thus humbly advised to consider the subject with a prayerful study, and arrive at the truth of the flat, stationary, immovable earth plane as mentioned and described in the Holy Scriptures. Although, being already conditioned and learned with the globe earth ideas, one will try to look at the subject with the same concepts and it may be difficult to leave them aside as false, as one will try to defend the ideas and notions of the globe earth and will most probably will find some reasoning to support the same. It is therefore suggested to lay aside the prejudices and presuppositions while considering the subject and take the time to study this with an open mind and honest heart, with everything subjected to in complete harmony with the scriptural truths. It may also be possible that a person is not comfortable with the article and it may come as a surprise or even shock, since it is in direct contrast to what one has learned, understood and followed till now, and acknowledging the subject places all authorities and systems in questions. Thus it is advised to arrive at the said truth with one's own time, pace and comfort. Some people might already have heard of the subject, debate and might have gone through the online videos related to it, and hence can study the article or related content at their own discretion or comfort.
The belief that the world, our earth, is a globe, revolving around the sun is a theory that has been accepted for so long it has been “grandfathered” in and is now widely accepted as “fact.” Diligent research has revealed the truth that the earth is actually not a globe spinning through illimitable realms of space. While it is not “flat” in the sense that one could walk up to the edge and fall off, as people used to mock the subject in the past, neither is it the open spherical globe everyone has been taught for the last 500 years. Rather, it is exactly what Scripture and all the ancients have taught it is: a fixed mass of land and seas, enclosed with a protective dome. Our earth is a plane and not a planet. Egyptians, Indians, Mayans, Chinese, Native Americans, and almost every ancient civilization on earth had recognized the earth to be a stationary plane with the celestial bodies moving above and around it. In actuality, science, astronomy and applied mathematics support a fixed earth enclosed in a dome, just as Scripture teaches. But even if the laws of science did not support this truth, we should still embrace it. The word of the Elohim or the Almighty is sufficient evidence to support any belief or doctrine. It is all right to shuffle the subject to and fro, while you gather more information. It is also all right to admit, “I don’t know!” But please do not close your mind to the possibility without first carefully reviewing all the evidence available. The danger is in the emotional and even psychological difficulty of assimilating a brand new, very different paradigm, and all the different possibilities that could arise as a result of it. It can create chaos in the mind and a serious determination to never be so deceived again. The temptation is to throw out all of one’s beliefs, even the truth one already has. Understand this reaction for the self-defense mechanism that it is and do not rashly cast aside other established truths. Once this truth is acknowledged and accepted, it will definitely set the mind and soul free of the pains resulting in empty and hopeless life patterns, arsing due to all the scientific, no Creator, random, coincidental, meaningless existence thought processes.
Empirical and Logical Evidences of Flat & Stationary Earth Plane
Below are some of the evidences that discuss the proof of a flat and stationary earth plane, this list is not meant to be an exhaustive or complete list, and may be in deviation from the said scientific facts, but they are worth considering in the light of the scriptural truths and any person can verify them without requiring any complicated or complex theories or explanations.
No curvature or bent horizons. The horizon of the earth is always perfectly leveled and flat, and always appear to be at eye-level, no matter high how much altitude is gained by the observer. If the earth were a ball, then an observer would have to look down to find the horizon as the altitude or height is gained, which never happens. If Earth were spherical in shape, 25,000 miles in circumference as NASA and other science authorities claim, then standing water must curve downward 8 inches per mile multiplied by the square of the distance. This equates to what should be an observable drop in the elevation of distant objects. Numerous experiments have been carried out to test the same, but none have succeeded to show or detect the said curvature of the earth, except theoretically on papers. Water surface is always perfectly leveled, it does not curve.
No real picture of the spherical earth. There are countless images of earth available online which depict the earth as a spherical object, but none of them is authentic proof to support a globe earth. All the images available online are CGI (Computer Generated Imagery), they are not real. Even the NASA itself admits that they are composite images, that is, that is these are captured images of the earth from some altitude, which they claim to be from space satellites, and then render them to appear as a globe. Anyone can easily notice that, in none of the earth images available online, the moon, the stars, the satellites or other space objects are visible. Since those are computer generated images, it is not possible to point out their exact location in space, hence they remove them all altogether to avoid any arguments or debate regarding their positioning in space. Although, space or science authorities claim that the earth is elliptoid or oblate in shape, that it extends outward into the said space near the equator, so that it is not a perfect sphere, yet in all the images they show as genuine and authentic pictures of earth from space, the earth is shown as a perfect sphere, thus contradicting their own statements.
NASA freely admits that their images are created with computer data; they are not photographs. When Data Visualizer and Designer, Robert Simmon, of NASA was asked, "What is the coolest thing you’ve ever done as part of your job at Goddard?" he answered: "The last time anyone took a photograph from above low Earth orbit that showed an entire hemisphere (one side of a globe) was in 1972 during Apollo 17. NASA’s Earth Observing System (EOS) satellites were designed to give a check-up of Earth’s health. By 2002, we finally had enough data to make a snap shot of the entire Earth. So we did. The hard part was creating a flat map of the Earth’s surface with four months’ of satellite data. Reto Stockli, now at the Swiss Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology, did much of this work. Then we wrapped the flat map around a ball. My part was integrating the surface, clouds, and oceans to match people’s expectations of how Earth looks from space. That ball became the famous Blue Marble. I was happy with it but had no idea how widespread it would become. We never thought it would become an icon. I certainly never thought that I would become "Mr. Blue Marble." We have since updated the base maps by increasing the resolution and, for 2004, we made a series of monthly maps." The fact that surveyors, engineers, architects, naval officers etc. do not take the Earth's curvature into consideration when plotting/planning their projects (While some claim that certain bridges were built with curvature in mind, the fallacy of this suggestion can be easily verified when one realizes that the water under the bridge does not follow the bridge's curvature. Water always finds its own level, it does not curve.)
No experience of relative motion. It is claimed that the earth is spinning at 1000 miles per hour on its axis, moving around the sun at a speed of 66,600 miles per hour in the said Solar System, which in turn is moving at 5,14,000 miles per hour in the Milky Way galaxy, and the said galaxy is moving at 5,15,000 miles per hour through space, yet in all this so abnormally great, random, spiraling, haphazard speeds through the said space, you do not feel even the slightest movement while reading this article on your device; except the movements that be due to earthquakes. Also, If the earth's atmosphere is stationary , then due to earth's spin at 1000 mph towards east, we would have faced the entire atmosphere hitting us at equivalent speeds, which never happens; or otherwise, if the earth's atmosphere is also moving with the earth, then we would have not noticed the winds or the slightest breezes of air moving at any time and in any random directions, as they would have to overcome the 1000 mph speeds of the atmosphere.
The North Star (Polaris) is always visible and located at the same fixed position in the sky, despite the fact that the earth is constantly moving, spinning and rotating in the said space.
The airline pilots do not consider the motion or the curvature of the earth for take-off, landing or during flight. It can be proved in several ways, that the aeroplanes require flat and complete stationary surface to take-off or land safely. The aeroplanes flying in any directions over earth always land on the runways, which are also oriented in any directions, perfectly without considering the movement of the earth at 1000 miles per hour in eastward direction. Consider, for example, landing an aeroplane on a runway which is built perpendicular on a train (or similar moving arrangement for experimental purposes), and the train is moving at 1000 mph. It will be extremely complex and almost impossible for the aeroplane to land safely in one piece on the runway built on a train moving at such high speeds. If the earth were a globe, then the aeroplanes flying in sky straight ward would have to bend downwards at regular intervals, so that they do not fly off into space, which never happens. If the earth is actually spinning at the speeds of 1000 mph eastwards, then the plane which flies at a speed of 500 mph towards an eastward destination would have remained suspended in air because the earth below is moving 500 miles per hour faster than the plane and the plane would never make it to the destination, and even would get 500 miles westward after an hour. Likewise, an aeroplane which intends to fly towards a westward direction just have to stay suspended in the air, because the earth beneath is moving 1000 mph eastwards, but in reality, this never happens. No helicopter which stays stationary or suspended in the air for, say 24 hours, rotates the entire earth to come back to the original position of take-off, although assumptions and theories can make it appear possible for the flight anomalies to be ignored on a spherical rotating earth.
The commercial flight patterns, which make no meaning on a globe earth and are perfectly explainable on a flat earth plane.
The fact that rivers follow the least path of resistance, but are found in many parts of the world to flow up and over what would be many miles of curvature. For example, the Mississippi would have to ascend 11 miles before reaching the Gulf of Mexico. A person might claim that there is no up or down directions in space, but at the same time, east or west directions definitely have significant roles when it comes to relative motion or movements. Since many rivers of the world then flow across and over the said curvature, or against the spin of the globe earth.
Apart from the above listed evidences and facts, the questions which arise related to the flat and stationary earth plane are addressed as below.
Why don't we go to the edge of the earth and fall off?
This is the very obvious and common question that a person comes across regarding studying the flat earth plane. We do not fall off the edge, this is because the edge of the earth is not yet discovered or disclosed, if the authorities know about the same.
Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all. {Job 38:18}
All sailing in the seas and oceans till date have encircled the continents from the outer side in the seas. The reason is that none of the sailors encountered the edge of the earth is that the flat or plane earth continents in the seas are enclosed by outer ice ring of 20 feet high walls of Antarctica. Thus while the North Pole is a pole, which is situated at the center of the earth, around which the heavenly bodies or the sky moves and rotates, the South Pole is not a pole but an outer ice ring on a flat earth plane. How far this outer ring of Antarctica extends, or where does it ends is not known or not disclosed. The Azimuthal Equidistant map of the earth, as used in the logo of the United Nations, shows this very clearly depicting the shape of the flat earth plane. The next question which a person might ask is How and Why this is not disclosed to the people. The answer to this can be found by studying or researching the Operation High Jump conducted in the year 1946-47, and Operation Deep Freeze spanning through 1955-56, by the US, which involved exploration and military activities in the Antarctica region, which revealed that much land and natural resources such as coal and natural gas are available in the area. Shortly after the US led missions to Antarctica, Antarctic Treaty(http://www.ats.aq/e/ats.htm) was signed by 12 nations which now includes 53 parties, which prohibits the land exploration by general public, and approachable through guided tours only. The excerpt which reads, "The Antarctic Treaty provides that “Antarctica shall be used for peaceful purposes only” (Art. I). To this end it prohibits “any measures of a military nature” but does “not prevent the use of military personnel or equipment for scientific research or for any other peaceful purpose”." There are reports by explorers in the 1700s and 1800s estimating that they had traversed more than 50,000 miles when trying to circumnavigate Antarctica, which is actually the outer ice ring on the Flat Earth (e.g. James Cook, James Clark Ross, the British "Challenger" expedition) although, according to NASA or the science authorities, the globe earth is only 25,000 miles in circumference.
The ships disappearing in the sea horizon due to the curvature of the earth proves that the earth is spherical or oblate in shape.It is correct that the ships disappear at the sea horizon, but it is not due to the supposed curvature of the earth, but because of the limitation of our eye to see beyond a particular point or the vanishing point, which happens due to the perspective of our eyesight. This can be easily understood by observing a road or footpath in our day to day life. As we stand on the road which is straight and extends to a few good kilometers in stretch, on a clear day, appears to be disappearing to become a point at the horizon, with both of the parallel sides of the road converging to the point at the horizon. Whereas we know that the road is in fact, not converging nor disappearing as we move towards the horizon, and any vehicle moving beyond the vanishing point of the perspective of our eyesight disappears. Likewise the boats or ships, which appear to be disappearing at the horizon due to the assumed and supposed curvature of the earth, have actually gone beyond the disappearing point or the vanishing point of our eyesight and not behind the said curvature of the earth. With the use of a good telescope or zooming device, the boats can be brought back to the view again, after they have disappeared from our eyesight. Actually, in an attempt to detect the so called curvature of the earth, we will only come to the conclusion that it does not exists.
The Apollo Moon landings, we have been to Moon and seen earth from there. We know people doubt it, but it can not be a lie, as a lie can not be hid for so long a time.The Apollo Moon landing was in questions since it's accomplishment. There are many anomalies and discrepancies observed with respect to the moon landings. Various video and image proofs conclude that the Apollo did not land on the moon and the supposed moon footages were telecasted from earth. The top reasons being:
The flying or waving flag on the surface of the moon, it is told that the moon has no atmosphere, so there is no reason for the flag to wave.
No stars in the sky or space in the pictures taken from the moon. Provided that there is no atmosphere on the moon, the stars and other space objects should have been clearly visible than being viewed from here on the earth.
The Van Allen radiation belts - as proposed that the belt surrounding the earth consists of dangerous radiations, every flight that is planned to go further in the sky to reach moon has to pass through this belt, however the Apollo mission took no notice of the same, nor did they make provisions for the same (although now NASA says that they have to overcome this challenge before attempting to reach Mars), and in a shuttle made up of aluminium having suits of fibre put on, they were able to pass through the belt without any effect whatsoever to the shuttle, circuitry, or to those on-boarded.
Several official photographs which show the astronauts and the shuttle details completely visible despite they being standing in the shadows of the craft, suggesting that other local light sources were also present.
No blast crater on the landing spot of the surface of the moon beneath the shuttle, which should have been as a result of the exhaust of the shuttle landing on the surface.
Shadows of the objects in various directions - knowing that in space, they were having the Sun as their only light source, yet in the pictures, shadows running in different directions can be seen, suggesting multiple light sources similar to those of studio lights.
Although the earth is claimed to be three times bigger than the moon, yet all the photographs of the earth from the moon shows the earth almost equal or even smaller in size than that of the moon viewed from earth.
Moreover, the smart phones of today have much better computer or technology than that available in the late 1960's, yet they went to the moon at that time, and provided there have been six manned landings on the moon between 1969 and 1972, by this time there should have been commercial space trips to the moon. But still after forty five years and all the said advancements, it has not been planned to go to the moon again. On the contrary even the soft landings (landing an unmanned craft on the moon, as claimed) did not happen between 1976 to 2013, which itself is questionable.
The next question then arises is, if the moon landing was fake and made up, why not anyone disclose it, how was it kept secret and that none of the NASA employees declare it? The main reason is that the moon landing mission, like any other said space related explorations, was heavily compartmentalized. No one was aware of the complete picture and what exactly was happening, except a few including the astronauts, who had taken oath of secrecy of not disclosing anything.
What about the Satellites, Rockets and the International Space Station?
Since the Apollo moon landing was fake or made up, the next question which arrives in is, are even the satellites or rockets real? We have seen them on TV several times and watched them disappear into the sky after successful launch. It is correct that few rockets have been able to reach a certain height or altitude in the sky before they disappear into the sky, but this does not necessarily means that they went into the so called space. To consider the impossibility of the existence of the ISS, satellites and the rockets, let us consider the layer of the atmosphere in which they are either orbiting or pass through, the thermosphere. The said thermoshpere extends from 90 kms to 500 kms above the surface of the earth, with temperatures in the upper thermosphere ranging from about 500° C (932° F) to 2,000° C (3,632° F) or higher, as claimed. The melting point of Aluminium, which is making up the most part of the ISS, is 660° C with boiling point as 2519° C. Thus if the ISS is actually at an altitude of 400 kms above the surface of the earth, as stated, then it would have literally melted into vapors. It is very obvious that any of the sensitive circuitry and wiring should be kept under proper insulation and isolation, to avoid any short-circuit or likewise, and to avoid any possible damages to the machinery and those operating the machinery. A good example is the aircraft, whose cabins are well designed and prepared to keep all the sensitive wiring and circuitry well concealed. But in the ISS, it appears that at such a high altitude, with almost no ground support, no emergency landing areas, and in life threatening situations every moment, they still feel that all the circuitry and wiring should be kept at an open display to those observing them on their TV sets. And their critical operations requiring fixing some equipment, in emergency situations, can be done from outside the ISS only, as they need to show their expertise in the so called space walk. No wise designer would allow all such open and dangerous display of the sensitive equipments, or place any critical components outside the craft, especially if they are in space. Moreover, the ISS is said to be made-up of compartments or cabins which are joined together in the space to make the entire structure, without any air-lock mechanism in place, which puts an additional risk of air leak out at the joints. It is also claimed that ISS is deployed with the rocket propulsion or boosters to stabilize the ISS in space while rotating around the earth, which can not be possible, because for the rocket propulsion to work, the exhaust of the same has to push against the atmosphere which is almost absent in that altitude. They are not concerned, absolutely worry-less and very confident that in such dangerous environments and situations, they can very easily manage the unusual and the unexpected, as if they are on ground or in zero gravity planes.
Likewise, it is claimed that there are about 20000 plus satellites in space at different altitudes in the said space, and yet not even a single satellite is noticed in the
videos shown from the ISS. The satellites are also said to exist in the thermosphere and beyond, moving at 17000 mph, and yet none of the satellites including the ISS, which are mostly made up of aluminium, gold and titanium , get affected by extremely high temperatures. The explanation provided is that, because of the said space like vacuum environment in the thermosphere, the heat is not transferred and the thermoshpere is actually well below 0 degrees. This should also apply to the Sun, that is since the Sun is in the vacuum of the space, hence it can not transfer any heat to the earth, which is incorrect, else they provide some more assumptions to justify that the same applies to the thermoshpere only. The GPS signals are also possible from ground based stations, or antennas placed at some altitudes and the said GPS satellites, rotating around the earth also do not exist.
All the inside videos of the ISS are either filmed in the studios with green backgrounds, which are later edited to include whatever background images or video they want to (similar to those done in movies), or in zero gravity airplanes. And all the so called space walks are actually performed in lab controlled swimming pools or water pools to give an effect of walking in zero gravity in space, which are also edited to include false computer generated images of globe earth in the background.
How can the eclipses be explained?
Our sky, or the heaven as explained in the scriptures, does not only contains the Sun, Moon and the Stars, but there also exists some other invisible heavenly bodies, which are not seen by the eyes, but they have been observed to block the path of the Sun and the Moon.
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. {Psalms 33:6}
Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. {Psalms 148:2}
And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven. {Deuteronomy 4:19}
It is also a very common observation that, eclipsed moon or even the full moon and the sun, both can be seen in the sky well above the horizon at the same time occasionally during the day, and sometimes early morning. If both the celestial objects are seen in the sky at the same time, then there is no reason for the shadow of the earth to eclipse moon in any way. The lunar eclipses also remain questionable, since if the earth is in the middle of the sun and the moon when we see a full moon, then there remains no reason for the moon to reflect any light of the sun, as the moon is being completely overshadowed by the earth.
On the other hand, consider the solar eclipses. If the moon were moving at a speed of 2,288 miles per hour or 38.13 miles per minute in the sky, or in the so called space, then it would take moon approximately 57 minutes to travel a distance of 2,159 miles, which is the diameter of the moon. Then how is it possible that the same moon, which when coming in front of the Sun during an eclipse passes through it in just 7 minutes, which is longest solar eclipse recorded so far? There is something definitely not correct when it comes to the size of the moon, distance from the earth or it's speed in the sky. It is also said that moon reflects sun's light that is why it glows, but this is not true either. Even if the moon were made up of polished material and were spherical in shape, then also it would have reflected the sun's light only from a particular point, with most of the light reflected into all directions in space, appearing something like a disco light ball and not uniformly illuminated, as it is seen in the sky. It is very clear that moon has it's own light and it is not reflecting sun's light in any way, as the scriptures declare and confirm.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. {Genesis 1:16}
The sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. {Isaiah 13:10}
This point can also be proved by observing the temperatures of the light of the sun and the moon, while the sun's light produces heat and warmth, moon's light produces cooling effects on the objects they fall. The objects placed in sunlight get heated up as compared to the objects placed in sunshade, whereas the objects placed in moonlight get slightly cold compared to the objects placed in moon-shade.
What about the gravitational forces which keeps every thing on the earth from falling and the planets in place in the Solar System?
Gravity or gravitational force was also in question since it's very discovery. The said force is assumed to be responsible for the objects to keep glued to the surface of the earth while the globe earth is moving, spinning and rotating in the said space. Provided that the earth is rotating at 1000 mph, moving at 66,600 mph around the sun, yet not even a dust particle or the mountains move a bit from their place, although all other slightest forms of motions and movements on the surface of the earth are allowed, just because of the said gravity. The said force is at the same time both, so strong that it can keep large objects like mountains, oceans, man made structures etc. to remain stuck to it's surface while the earth is assumed to be spinning at 1000 mph, yet is so week that it can not prevent insects to fly off, dust particles to be carried away by the wind blowing, or us from lifting our feet easily against it. No large object has been observed to attract a lighter object to itself to stick to it just because of the force of gravitation alone, as is observed with magnetic forces. Existence of gravitational force is kind of mandatory for the heliocentric model (or the sun-centered model, with all other objects moving around the sun) of the said solar system to exist, since if there is no gravitational force, then there is no reason for the masses of the planets to attract each other in space, and hence the model does not exists. Moreover, the scriptures clearly declare that the sun, the moon, the stars and other heavenly bodies are placed inside the firmament of heaven, above the surface of the earth. Everything is kept on to the surface of the flat, stationary earth plane, and the celestial bodies in movement in the heaven above, by the design, wisdom and power of our Creator.
Just because something can be proved on the paper theoretically, doesn't mean that it works in reality also, in actual however, theories and assumptions are put in place in an attempt to explain what might be the cause of what is seen and observed in the nature and around us.
I am still not convinced, please provide more Biblical proofs.
Below are some Biblical references that provide sufficient proofs to support the flat, stationary earth plane with heavenly bodies in movement.
The earth is flat, stationary and motionless.
Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved. {1 Chronicles 16:30}
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. {Psalms 93:1}
Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all. {Job 38:18}
The word, breadth, here is rachab (H7338), which means "breadth, broad or wide expanse". This seems like a perfectly legitimate question on a flat Earth. It makes no meaning at all, though, in the context of a spherical Earth. Throughout the scriptures, the references are pointing towards a stationary earth and nowhere it is hinted that it is in motion or movement.
The earth has foundations.
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. {Job 38:4}
Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. {Psalms 104:5}
The earth has corners and boundaries.
According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth. {Psalms 48:10}
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. {Matthew 24:31}
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. {Revelation 7:1}
Sun and the heavenly bodies rotate around or across the earth plane, and not otherwise.
The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose. {Ecclesiastes 1:5}
Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. {Joshua 10:12-13}
The text could not be any clearer: The "sun stood still in the midst of heaven". Joshua commands the sun and moon to stand still in the heavens. He does not command the Earth to stop spinning, moving or rotating. As honest Bible students, we must acknowledge the clarity of this passage.
In the book of Isaiah, we have an inspired record of how Elohim caused the sun to regress in the sky, causing the shadow of the sundial to move backwards:
Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down. {Isaiah 38:8}
Isaiah tells us in plain language that "the sun returned ten degrees". There is no question about it; Isaiah believed that it was the sun that moved, not the Earth. Kind David also believed that it was the sun that moved:
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. {Psalms 19:1-6}
Solomon, more than 25 times in the book of Ecclesiastes, uses the phrase "under the sun" when referring to Earthly activities. Solomon clearly believed that the Sun was moving above the Earth. Just like the stationary earth references, the celestial objects are mentioned to be motion or movement above the earth plane and not still in the heaven. Elohim forbid that we make the testimony of the prophets subservient to the theories of erring and deceitful mankind.
Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken. {Luke 24:25}
The Earth and the heavenly bodies are enclosed by the firmament.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. {Genesis 1:6-8}
In the verse, it is clearly stated that the firmament separates the water that is below it from the waters that is above it. It could not be any clearer; there is water both below the firmament and above the firmament.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. {Psalms 148:4}
One of the very common Biblical text that is proposed to support the globe earth model is Isaiah 40:22:
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in. {Isaiah 40:22}
The word used here to denote "circle" as per Stong's Concordance is H2329 (chûg). It quite literally means circle, circuit, or compass, and by extension can refer to the vault of the heavens. It does not mean "ball" or "sphere".
H2329 (chûg) is in no way indicative of a ball or sphere. Isaiah, under divine inspiration, was deliberate in his word choice here; he did not lack a word for "ball," as can clearly be seen in the following passage:
He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: {Isaiah 22:18}
Isaiah, when referring to a ball selected H1754 (dûr) and not H2329 (chûg). These are mutually exclusive expressions. It is important to note here that H2329 (chûg) can refer to the "vault of the heavens" which, in context, seems the most fitting application of its usage in this passage. This passage tells us that the Almighty sits upon the vault of the heavens above the Earth and that from His vantage point, the inhabitants of Earth appear like grasshoppers. Elohim, of course, is omnipresent and this passage would have applied to a globe earth model also, but the picture that Isaiah is painting in the passage is quite clear and much more meaningful in the context of a flat earth plane.
This passage also tells us that the Elohim stretches out the heavens like a "curtain" and spreads them out like "a tent." The word used here to denote "the heavens" [H8064 - shâmayim] is the same word used in Genesis to identify the firmament:
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. {Genesis 1:8}
What Isaiah is communicating then is that our Heavenly Father sits upon (or above) the firmament which is stretched over the Earth like a tent. A tent can be set up on a flat plane only, and this will make no meaning on a globe. The following verse also confirms that the Elohim dwelled/dwells at the zenith of the firmament.
Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are! {Job 22:12}
Also note that the passage says about the height of stars and not their distance or farness from the earth, which is more meaningful on a plane earth. The below verses of commentary on the Creation account, reinforces what we have learned thus far,
When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth. {Proverbs 8:27-29}
Another very reasonable interpretation is that, the seas are kept at their boundaries by the Elohim, which is most probably the outer circle of ice established to contain the seas. Irrespective of which of these interpretations one adheres to, one thing is certain: it is nowhere even hinted that the earth is a globe. All of the Biblical references examined so far irrefutably depict a flat, stationary, immovable earth plane enclosed by the firmament of heaven.
Another reference pointed out to support globe earth model is Job 26:7
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. {Job 26:7}
It is claimed that the verse clearly states that the globe earth is hanging in space and is not set on anything, while the application of the verse to support the globe earth model may seem sound, it could also be applied to a flat earth plane, that it is resting on foundations and not "hanging" on or over anything.
Most of the Biblical references related to the earth point out to the phrases of height and depth, which are more meaningful on an earth plane than a globe, although it is an altogether different thing if the references are interpreted while keeping in mind the globe earth model. Elohim forbid that we twist the Scriptures to agree with man's pseudo-scientific Copernican (sun-centered) theory, which contradicts Scripture from the very outset of Genesis. True science, which is observable and verifiable, vindicates the reality of the stationary Earth Plane.
What we have been taught is something like, consider the flat earth map and paste it on a ball with north pole at one side of axis, and ice wall of Antarctica at the other side of the axis to make the other said pole. Take anything that works on a globe model of the earth, and consider the working of the same on a flat and stationary earth plane, and it would be observed that everything works perfectly on a stationary earth plane requiring no odd or complex assumptions, theories and manipulations.
So what is our earth actually in shape, if it is not a globe and not spinning?
From all the Biblical evidences supporting and proposing a flat, stationary earth plane, we can conclude that our flat earth is immovable, has foundations, has corners, has a firmament, is covered by outer ice ring and has waters both above and below the firmament. It is not known where is the edge or end of the flat earth plane, and whether the earth plane is finite or infinite, as more light and truth is revealed in these last times, we may come to know the true nature of the creation of our Creator.
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. {Acts 17:11}
Irrespective of our location or position on the earth, all common sense, every observation, every experience and all our interactions with the earth and our surroundings points towards the conclusion and result of a flat, stationary, immovable earth plane. All of the said scientific advancements are unable to detect any form of motion or movement of the earth. Why is it important to realize or know that the earth is not a globe and not spinning either? What difference does it makes? Realizing that the earth is actually a flat and stationary plane is important to realize that, we truly and certainly do not exist because of some random cosmic accidents of big bang, evolving from nothing, existing because of no reason and moving into the endless universe to nowhere. When we realize the truth of flat and stationary earth, we begin to realize that we do not exist purposelessly, and truly there is a Creator who created us for a purpose, and that each and every form of life that He has created is not meaningless. The next question that might come next is why will anyone not acknowledge the flat earth truth, or what will one gain by deceiving the whole world into believing that it is indeed a spinning globe? There may be numerous reasons for the same ranging from politics, power, dominance, reject the scriptures etc., but the very clear and important reason is as explained in the Holy Scriptures and warned by Yahushua, that the world is caught in deceptions in the last times and that to beware of the deceptions of the last times.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. {Colossians 2:8}
Behold, I have told you before. {Matthew 24:25}
Although, everything created by our Creator definitely has a very sound and logical reasoning, but the said science advancements keep on explaining the existence of everything on it's own due to some random, extremely complex, highly synchronized coincidences, in their attempt to disagree the reality our Creator in every possible way they could. They keep on devising theories after theories, assumptions after assumptions, however illogical, bizarre and non-scientific they may be, like the evolution of man from apes, so that they do not even meet the idea of the reality of our Creator even in their dreams.
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. {Luke 8:17}
The objective of the science has been to be eliminate any forms of signatures of our Creator from us and from His creation by devising assumptions and theories to explain each and every thing. Where it seems no scientific explanations are possible, then the said scientific fables are put in place. Realizing and accepting the flat, stationary earth plane will help us appreciate the creation of our Creator, including the mankind which is created in His image, and will help to put back in place the heavenly divinity quotient when we will be looking at the earth, the horizons, the sky, and the celestial bodies. We know that we are living in the end times, and great deceptions of great and massive scale are taking place in these times. The conditions of the nations, the wars, the tensions and struggles, the catastrophes, the signs in the seas and the sky, all confirm that we are nearing end and should be ready or prepared to face the great day of the Elohim. We should not be ignorant of the truths of the end times, in finding alternate realities and false hopes of comforts. Yahushua has assured us that the end would be a relief for the righteous and for those living truthfully.
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. {Matthew 13:43}
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. {Revelation 3:11}
We should not be closing our eyes to the end times, but rather keep a watch and prepare for it prayerfully, knowing that it will relieve us of our sorrows, troubles and all kinds of miseries. We are not left to our own, if the darkness, afflictions and troubles of the end times were not any times before, then the light, heavenly support and divine guidance that are made available were also not provided before. We should not lose hope and faith in Yahushua and His words.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. {Psalms 37:7}
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. {Psalms 27:14}
We need to vigilant, righteous and faithful, with all patience, humility and courage so that we do not get deceived in these last times by the darkness that surrounds, and that we truly and honestly follow Yahushua, no matter what.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. {John 8:12}
