Link to Research:
Steve was born in Kidlington, Oxfordshire (about 5 miles from Kirtlington) and his wife Jenny was born in Australia - they have been living in Perth, Australia. After finding my research online, Steve and Jenny made the pilgrimage to Kirtlington and other sites in Oxfordshire. They brought along Steve's father Brian Edwin Trafford, who now lives in Bournemouth, Dorset, and visited Brian's sisters and brother who still live in Kidlington.
Steve and Brian are descended from Thomas Trafford the baker (1767-1843).
Steve and Jenny sent me the following photos:
Steve and Brian at the bakehouse in Kirtlington
Steve and Brian at the entry
Brian at the home with 7 hearths in nearby Wendlebury ~ possible birth place of John Trafford (1706-1768) ~ and possible home of John's brother Henry, father Henry and grandfather, Henry
Steve and wife Jenny in nearby Great Tew
