Three Hats, One Profound Learning Experience
Spartan Consulting is designed to provide academic learning and personal development in a real life setting.
When students join Spartan Consulting they wear three hats. First, they become Students in an Academic Class (CMS 101). Second, they become Partners in a real life communications consulting concern. Third, they become Consultants - with a real mission, real value and real clients - all while earning academic credit.
Spartan Consulting also offers a Practice Mentor Independent Study program to Partners from previous editions of Spartan Consulting who support current Partners as Mentors and Advisors while learning more about Communications Studies. They can gain up to 3 hours of credit and also qualify for tuition free SERV Credit.
Spartan Consulting combines classroom and community into an award winning learning experience:
Do you:
No, you don't have to be a social worker or a business major. In fact, Spartan Consulting alumni have gone on to a variety of ventures including counseling, healthcare, international relations, entrepreneurial business, military service, ministry and nonprofit management. Others are continuing their education at four year institutions in accounting, business, criminal justice, engineering, finance, journalism, law, medicine, nursing, political science and more. Many are still on campus and are involved and engaged as Student Trustees, Peer Leaders, Board of Trustee Scholars, Phi Theta Kappa members, Club and Organization Officers and more.
