Policies 2024
COVID Vaccination and testing
We updated our COVID policy for 2024. Check the June Camp 2024 Health Risk and Liability Agreement for full information.
Note that in addition to the affirmation required on the registration form, we ALSO REQUIRE that each participant test with a rapid antigen test just before leaving for camp, and present proof of a negative test at check-in.
Masking
Face masks to impede transmission of COVID-19 and other diseases are encouraged but not required at June Camp 2024. However, to make everyone feel safe and comfortable, and to be considerate of other participants we ask you to keep a mask handy and wear it if requested.
We also encourage participants to mask when in crowds and while traveling to camp during the week prior. Well-fitting, multi-layer, high quality (e.g. N-95 type) face masks are preferred.
Alcohol policy
Alcohol is only allowed in the campus dorms. No alcohol is allowed in public areas, in the Fitness center or outdoors.
Alcoholic beverages will be available during social hours and after-parties in the Atlass Hall lounge. If you’d like to bring drinks (including alcohol) for yourself or for others to share, please feel free to do so.
We welcome contributions to the supplies in the social area – please arrange to give items directly to a committee member without bringing them into areas where alcohol is not permitted.
Video policy
Dance workshops, along with the Dance Exchange, taught by local teachers, will be recorded by our official videographer, and those videos will be made available for download after camp.
The Dance Exchange videos are available to all.
For the review videos of dances, we request a $10 fee, paid in advance at registration, or payable at camp, which will go to the artist.
We request that no one make their own videos during teaching or review sessions.
By downloading any June Camp recordings, you agree that they are intended for your private use and possession only. You may not share or post any of the videos on any social media, allow anyone else to download them, or copy and send any videos to anyone. You are, of course, free to play them for your friends, including online events as long as you are present. You are also not allowed to edit out any of the copyright information on the videos. All material remains “Copyright 2024, June Camp - Midwest Folk Dance Association, Inc.
