June Camp 2024 Health Risk and Liability Agreement

Our goal is to keep our community as safe as possible. We require proof of a negative rapid antigen test taken the day of arrival at camp, whether coming for all or part of the event (even for evening parties).

The wearing of well-fitting, multi-layer masks (e.g. N-95 type) during indoor activities except when actively eating and drinking is encouraged, but not required. However, we strongly suggest that you mask during the week prior to coming to June Camp when in the proximity of others, especially in crowds, airports, airplanes, and on public transportation.

When you register for any part of June Camp, you will need to agree to the statements below.

I acknowledge that participating in June Camp 2024 subjects me to the risk of physical illness or injury (minimal, serious, or catastrophic) and that I am assuming this risk, and will not hold the event organizers, other participants, or the venue responsible or liable for any illness or injury I incur.

In particular with respect to COVID-19, I acknowledge that COVID-19 and its variants are highly infectious viruses that can result in serious illness and possibly death. I acknowledge that it is spread through person-to-person contact, primarily through the air, and that the risk of the virus is greater indoors than outdoors. I accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 through participation, and voluntarily assume that risk.

I agree to stay home and not attend if I feel sick, or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the previous 7 days. See the CDC website for the information on symptoms. During camp, anyone exhibiting COVID symptoms will be isolated, tested, and if positive, will be excluded from any additional camp activities.

I agree to test with a rapid antigen test the day I arrive at camp, and provide proof of a negative result (photo or the test itself), or bring a test to take on arrival at camp.

I agree to comply with additional measures aimed at reducing the risk of transmission of disease, measures which may need to be adopted by June Camp, the camp venues, or any controlling governmental entity at any time.

I agree to notify the June Camp committee immediately if I start to exhibit COVID, cold, or flu-like symptoms during camp. I will also notify the committee if I test positive for COVID-19 during or for a week after camp, so other participants who may have been exposed can be informed.
