The numlock is not on by default in various places after linux boots in distros. Here are my notes trying to set it to ON by default.
I want the numlock to be on by default for everything. Setting it on and off has changed over the years but in 2024 using sddm it worked by adding 'Numlock=on' to /etc/sddm.conf. This seems to be an X11 setting so now Im trying to get Wayland working.
