Content Covered:

• Kids read their homework assignment - short paragraph on an example of a compassionate incident.

• Revised names of 24 Tirthankar Bhagwans

• Started teaching kids about Puja

• Talked about the 5 days of Diwali

Homework:

• Revise names of 24 Tirthankar Bhagwans

• Write a short paragraph on how you have celebrated Diwali

• Revise the lesson on Puja (pages 76 and 77 - in Book JES101).

• Do 1 maala jaap (108 beads) on Diwali day and/or New Year's Day.

  • On Diwali Day - MAHAVIRSWAMI PARGATAY NAMAH, or Mahavirswami Mokshe Poicha

  • On New Year's Day - GAUTAMSWAMI KEVAL GNYANA NAMAH

• Kids that did not do homework from last time - have to write 2 (not one) short paragraphs on Compassionate incident.

Important Notes for Parents:

• We will pick 2 parents each class to simply fold the four tables after class.

• We will pick 2 parents each class to ensure that all the kids go to the Temple area for Aarti.

• Please remember to pay a fine of $1.00 if you are late by more than 10minutes.
