While my dissertation focuses primarily on Protect and Survive, politics and culture, and Cold War civil defence in Britain, my broader academic interests extend across Cold War popular culture, particularly in the United States and Canada. 

I hope this site serves as a record of my professional development as I continue working toward a full-time academic career and sharing my enthusiasm for history with new students (though a few of my idiosyncrasies tend to sneak in from time to time, as you’ll soon see).
