Definitions are relative. Difficult and easy complement each other; long and short contrast each other; high and low rest upon each other (from Lao Tse). For me, this trip continues to be defined by contrast. Unlike other travel narratives, I have omitted the vast detail of who, where and when. Instead, by focusing on the how and why, I feel I can best relay the experiences of my conversations, observations and adventure. I don't know if such abstraction makes good reading, but it is different. Over the recent weeks and months, I've had a chance to review other weblogs and have found great variation both from my own and each other. Below are three examples, but if I receive more I will post as well:
Steve Clark (otherwise known as Primo) who is my current driving companion heading east Primoclark.blogspot.com
Kristi Cole's Step-Mom's Nephew. Kristi is awesome, but has left Houston for the Big Apple. The blog is about a 5,001 mile trip www.mile5001.com
Molly Powers (an old friend from my high school) who is now living in Fiji Mopowers.typepad.com/
Two people we met in Jackson Wyoming (adventureoutwest or click here if you can't see excerpt)
So given proclivity to the nondescript, I leave the detail to pictures. Below is the first home of the buffalo wings (in Buffalo, http://www.anchorbar.com/).
