Anchors are used to keep a boat in place and keep it from drifting off into the waters. However if you fail to pull up your anchor you will stay in the same spot and never move forward. Individuals who have been incarcerated have dropped their anchor in the ground, many are stuck and feel they cannot move forward. Their conviction anchors them and keeps them from moving forward. However in order to move forward we have to know how to discuss and address your conviction in our job search.
