It is important that you have documentation of your journey. You want to have proof that shows where you have visited and what you have done. This provides the proof that you need to convince people about your travels. By having this documentation, people may become more interested in your travels and explorations through the pictures or journals you write.
The same applies to your job search! You will need to create documentation that shows that you have the experience, skills, qualifications or abilities that an employer is looking for. In addition with professional documentation, an employer will be more inclined to believe that you truly want the job. By presenting your documentation such as resume, cover letter, thank you letter, and master application; you are showing that employer you are prepared and are serious about gaining employment. This crucial employment documentation will also be a way to get employers interested in what you have to offer!

Your assignment will be to present one of the 4 employment documents to our class: Resume, Cover Letter, Thank You Letter and Master Application. Your presentation can be a PowerPoint, poster board, video or oral presentation. Each group must work together to present each element. Each topic needs to cover the following:
What is the document and how is it used?
Give a step by step in how to create the document.
Show a good and bad example of the document.
Explain the benefits of using the document.
Present a completed example to your classmates.
