Bryan Orozco

In August 2020, Bryan Orozco began a journey as a graduate student in the physics department at The Ohio State University (OSU). He is currently in his 3rd-year and is working on experimental condensed matter physics in the Johnston-Halperin group. He completed his B.S. in applied physics at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) in May 2020. During his time at CSUSB, he was an S-STEM Scholar and Cal-Bridge Scholar. As an undergrad, he worked in multiple REUs which were mainly at College of the Desert and CSUSB. He also did an REU at Stanford University in the SLAC LUX-ZEPLIN group and went on to present a poster at American Astronomical Society (AAS). He has also presented posters at Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR) in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
