Job Description:
The Collator Packer is responsible for packing nails into cartons, assembling boxes and moving them to the proper location, managing labeling, and inspecting product quality.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Pack nail strips into 45 to 95lb cartons
2. Stack packed boxes onto pallet
3. Assemble cardboard boxes
4. Apply proper identifying label
5. Inspect strips of collated nails prior to packing into cardboard box
6. Pack strips into box and close
7. Stack completed boxes on pallet
8. Maintain cleanliness of work area
9. Be flexible with schedule; days, swing or grave and be able to work overtime as needed
Qualifications:
2 years manufacturing experience a plus
Good communication skills
Must be a team player
Must speak and read English
Forklift certification is a plus
Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Requires a Driver’s License: No
Minimum Salary: $12.25 Hour
