Connecting the rows

To connect the rows, I got a bunch of LEGOs and aligned the top LEDs of the rows by pressing them into the LEGO pieces. I aligned the rest by hand. Then I started soldering them together, using a previous jig to stretch the wire straight. The wire rested on the unclipped wires I was soldering to. This part of the build was the least neat because there was not a good way to keep everything straight, however, I did a pretty good job doing so anyway. Because it was hard to pick up without it getting damaged from bending, I added extra wires across the top of the rows to give the cube more architectural strength, and it helped significantly. It is heavier than I expected. I am very happy with the project so far; the cube looks great. Next I need to test it again to make sure all the lights work before I mount it to the foam, and I need to come up with a way to run the 8 anode level wires to the bottom of the cube. Then I can finally work on the control boards.
