The 6th Days of Econometrics for Finance (JEF'2019) Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the organisation of the JEF'2018 international Workshop on July 8-10, 2019 at The National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA) and The Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Sciences (Souissi) of Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. The conference aims to bring together academics, practitioners and policymakers sharing interest in applied economics, financial econometrics and risk management. It provides a forum for presenting new research results as well as discussing current and challenging issues in econometrics and statistics for finance and other related topics. It is also an excellent avenue to obtain quality feedback and an important opportunity for networking among researchers, academics, consultants and industry executives working in finance and allied areas.

The scientific program of the JEF'2019 Workshop will run over 3 days taking place at FSJES-Souissi/INSEA as indicated in "Conference venue". 

The first half day of July, 8th is devoted for advanced training courses designed to graduate students (Master/PhD), professionals and researchers with an interest in statistics, econometrics and finance. The courses will mainly be taught by professors with extensive experience from other internationally-renowned universities. The 9th and 10th of July consist of research contributions from invited speakers scheduled as many sessions with high-profile issues. The second half day of July, 8th includes presentations of PhD students working on themes related to the JEF Conference. It is a great opportunity to get feedback from their peers, develop presentations skills and practice promotion of scientific results. Paper submission from PhD students is open until (June 5) June 18, and should be done via email to: jef.conference@gmail.com. Successful papers will be notified by (June 15) June 26, 2019.
