The Joint Meeting of the 13th Days of Econometrics for Finance and the Workshop on Recent Advances in Extreme Value Analysis will be held on April 29-30, 2026 in Rabat, Morocco. Please see below for more details on the location.
We have not yet confirmed whether the meeting will be held at Mohammed V University or at another nearby conference venue in Rabat. We will keep you informed in January.

How to get to "Rabat ville" from Rabat–Salé Airport (RBA)
By Taxi/Shuttle: Airport – Rabat city center & Rabat city center – Airport: a shuttle runs every 30 minutes (with some 45-minute gaps), the trip takes about 30 minutes, and the cost is approximately €2 - €2,50 (25 dirhams on board). Grand taxis are also available at the official taxi rank outside the Arrivals exit (fares are posted); travel time to central Rabat is typically around 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
How to get to "Rabat ville" from Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN)
By Train: From CMN, take the airport train from the airport station to Casa-Voyageurs (about 35 minutes, typically regular departures, tickets around 14–29 dirhams). At Casa-Voyageurs, connect to a train to Rabat-Ville (about 57 minutes, typically around hourly, tickets around 35–75 dirhams). You can check the schedule on the official website of the national railway at www.oncf-voyages.ma. Once you arrive at "Rabat-Ville" Train Station, grab a small taxi to the hotel.
By Taxi: There are big taxis at the exit of the airport that can take you to Rabat (look for the « Grand Taxi » sign). This is the fastest door-to-door option, typically about 1h15–1h20 depending on traffic. It’s usually more expensive than the train (expect 650 dirhams ≈ 60 €): after paying the fare at the taxi desk, you will receive a receipt with the taxi number which will take you directly to your hotel in Rabat.
