Mecanismos da Mediunidade segundo o Espiritismo

Resumo: "Mecanismos da mediunidade" é o título de obra espírita de natureza mediúnica, muito conhecida no meio espírita. Com base em conceitos de Física, Química e Engenharia Elétrica, essa obra se propôs a apresentar uma explicação dos mecanismos do fenômeno mediúnico. Em vista dos conceitos científicos utilizados não serem de fácil entendimento dos companheiros espíritas em geral e do crescente interesse do movimento espírita em descrever os fenômenos espíritas com base apenas na Doutrina Espírita, apresentamos o primeiro estudo sobre os mecanismos da mediunidade segundo, apenas, as obras de Kardec. Basicamente, os mecanismos da mediunidade segundo o Espiritismo decorrem dos seguintes conceitos: i) os Espíritos modificam o Fluido Universal (FU) através do pensamento e vontade, impregnando-o de qualidades e informações que desejem; ii) o perispírito é formado pela condensação do FU em torno do Espírito que é o foco de inteligência, e as qualidades dos fluidos do perispírito dependem do grau de evolução do Espírito; iii) o perispírito serve de transmissão ao pensamento, como o fio elétrico; iv) os Espíritos se comunicam com os médiuns da mesma forma que com os Espíritos propriamente ditos, tão só pela irradiação dos seus pensamentos; v) para um Espírito desencarnado se comunicar com o do encarnado, o fluido do médium, através da sua expansão perispiritual, se combina com o perispírito do Espírito desencarnado; vi) os Espíritos tem mais facilidade para responder, por efeito da afinidade existente entre o nosso perispírito e o do médium que nos serve de intérprete. A explicação para esses itens e as devidas citações em Kardec são apresentadas no artigo. Esse artigo pode ser usado como base para preparação ou revisão de cursos sobre Espiritismo e mediunidade.

Abstract: "Mechanisms of mediumship" is the title of a well known spiritist mediumistic book. Using concepts from Physics, Chemistry and Electrical Engineering, this book presents an explanation of the mechanisms of the mediumistic phenomenon. As those scientific concepts are, in general, not easily understood by the spiritist adepts, and due to the growing interest of the spiritist movement in describing the spiritist phenomena based only on the Spiritist Doctrine, we here present the first study on the mechanisms of mediumship according to only the Kardec’s books. Basically, the mechanisms of mediumship according to Spiritism stem from the following concepts: i) the Spirits modify the Universal Fluid (UF) through thought and will, impregnating it with the qualities and information they desire; ii) the perispirit is formed by the condensation of the UF around the Spirit which is the focus of intelligence, and the qualities of the fluids of the perispirit depend on the degree of evolution of the Spirit; iii) the perispirit transmits the thoughts, like the electric wire; iv) the Spirits communicate with the mediums in the same way as with the Spirits themselves, just by the irradiation of their thoughts; v) for a disincarnated Spirit to communicate with that of the incarnate, the medium’s perispirit, through its perispiritual expansion, combines with the perispirit of the disincarnated Spirit; vi) Spirits find it easier to respond, due to the affinity between our perispirit and that of the medium who serves as an interpreter. The explanation for these items and the corresponding citations in Kardec’s books are shown in the article. This article can be used as a basis for preparing or reviewing courses on Spiritism and mediumship.
