Dedication

This web site is dedicated to my very dear friend and pitcher extraordinaire, Charlotte Graham. Charlotte was the type of player that opponents hated and teammates loved. She had a fiery spirit and gave it her all day in and day out. As an amateur, Charlotte was one of the nation’s top pitchers. In a four-year span with the Santa Clara Laurels, Charlotte posted 143 victories. Twice she hurled four no-hitters in a single season with the Laurels, in 1968 and 1971. With the Sunbirds in 1976, Charlotte posted a 23-11 record with an ERA of 0.93. Sadly, Charlotte lost her battle with cancer in 2006.
