2024 Precinct Caucus and Conventions
Your Voice ~ Your Party
A caucus is a gathering of neighbors to discuss issues and organize the local DFL party unit. All parties have their caucuses on the same night, and the next statewide precinct caucus date is February 27, 2024.
Know Where To Go
Itasca County has 76 voting precincts, and 11 DFL volunteers willing to convene caucuses. The conveners will greet you at your caucus location – see poster.
If you cannot make it to your caucus, but want to be a delegate to the convention and/or want a resolution adopted, submit this form.
Prepare & Promote Resolutions
Many DFL Interest Groups promote resolutions. Follow your issues of concern, and ask if an organization has drafted caucus resolutions...or write your own. Present your resolutions to your caucus, and participants will vote yes or no to adopt it. If adopted, all the delegates at the Itasca County DFL convention will vote on their top resolutions. Those resolutions will be forwarded to the state’s DFL Central Committe for a final vote.
