LESSON 1: Work Values
A work value is something that's important to you in a career. Some values come from within. For instance, many people feel the need to be creative or help others. Other values reflect more concrete aspects of the work you do. For instance, money and leisure time are considered outward motivators. In this lesson, you will learn what works values are, how to find and live your work value, and much more.
This exercise will guide students in exploring their own work values, and investigate careers that they may find satisfying based on their values.
Before completing LESSON 1, you may need to unlock the lesson by completing prep exercises if you have not saved 3 Careers to your profile (moved over from Career Cruising).
On your Dashboard, on the left under Core Lessons, click on the blue Get Started button under Work Values.
Follow the directions on each page, as they will lead you through the exercise.
When you have fully completed the task, the progress bar at the top of the page will show 100%. Then click on the Done button to return to the main page. On this page, you’ll now see a green checkmark next to the Work Values core lesson.
