ATV's/Golf Carts/Vehicles: We have had several owners express concern about children driving ATVs, golf carts, etc way too fast and carelessly. The posted speed limit is 15 MPH. Please ensure your family, friends, and guests are complying with MN DNR ATV/UTV rules.
Volunteerism:
Ways to Volunteer/help/donate year round in Isle Harbor if you can't on volunteer day
Playground
Please help weed, pick up, and rake the playground.
Beach
In addition to our one time weekly raking by contracted services we are seeking your help to grab a rake (available at the beach) throughout the week/weekend and keep it clean. Pull weeds and rake goose droppings to help keep it safe for our children/families.
Fish cleaning house
Besides the weekly clean and emptying the freezers once per week we can use your help with: Restock with bags, clean up well after yourself.
Trails
Cut overgrown brush, move fallen trees off the trail.
Roads/Drag
The drag is in front of the Quonset hut. After a good rain a few volunteers have helped maintain our roads by hooking this to the back of their vehicle and driving through the Harbor and on the bog road. We appreciate your help; our roads have been in pretty good shape this summer.
Keep Dogs Leashed
It is crucial that dogs are on a leash and under the direct care of a responsible person. Leash rules are in place in both the Association and within Federal Dam City limits. In addition, from time to time the beaver traps are placed along the bog road culverts as well as in the harbor; a reminder to please keep pets leashed and away from these traps.
