Transported Landscapes

As people have moved across the face of the earth, they have taken plants and animals with them. As people have moved and learned how to cope with different environments, they have also moved cultural perspectives and ideals. People modify and transform landscapes to suit their own needs. Each culture has its own aesthetic and perception of a desirable living environment. This episode addresses the transported landscapes that people have moved around the earth and the ways in which perspectives of landscape are woven through land usage decisions.
