I am no longer creating rewards or taking requests. I don't do commissions either. This page is an archive, and was last relevant back in 2012.
You may claim any of the following rewards in exchange for the points you have obtained. You must PM me at Sal's Realm, Zybez, or Tip.It with your request for what prize you wish to claim, and tell me any extra info about how you want it made, and depending on the prize, you may have to send me an image or two as well. The rewards are non-refundable, so don't complain that you don't like it once I'm done making it - if I can't get my time back, you don't get your points back
. I can, however, make modifications if I didn't do something quite the way you wanted it. Also note that I allow you to go into up to 25₧ of debt on a single purchase, provided you have earned at least 5₧ at one time or another (see Rule #9 for details), or up to 50₧ of debt if you have earned at least 50₧. Note that I may not allow you to go into debt if too many people are already in debt, however. Be careful - when you are in debt, you cannot make further purchases!
Below are the types of rewards you may purchase. Note that red text explains things which may raise your price, and blue text explains things which may lower your price. Green text explains the pricing method for rewards which lack a base cost. Since pricing can sometimes get very complicated (particularly for 3D models), I will always tell you the cost before I start working on the reward. You don't even usually have to worry about the green text if you just look at the "average cost" listed before such rewards.

5₧ Custom Underbanner/Userbar: just tell me the font (and formatting and color), background color/pattern/texture/gradient/picture, any RS items or pics you want attached to it, and what words you want it to say.
5₧ (or 3₧) Custom Website Icon (.ICO File Format): the icon you see on the tab of a website, the URL bar, and the favorites list. The maximum size is 16x16 pixels, and can be anything you want. You may want to show me a quick sketch for best results. If you simply provide me an image to resize and convert into an ICO, it will cost two points less.
7₧ Custom Emoticon: You can chose from six basic emote types: http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/3298/smilytypeguide.png You can also chose any other type of emote, but in that case you have to show me an example so I know how to design it. You can choose pretty much anything, from an emote wearing RS items, to a funny face, to a symbol... Your imagination is the only limit
7₧ (or 3₧) Custom Cursor: If you tell me what you want a cursor to look like, or you provide an image you want me to convert into a cursor (4₧ discount), I will do it. I can also make animated cursors, but I will not do complex animations. You can choose any type of cursor, such as an ordinary pointer, a loading cursor, typing cursor, etc. If you want, I can base the cursor on some classic Windows cursor types - default (just white with a black outline), 3-D (simple 2-3 color shading), or Windows Aero (smooth shaded white with antialiased edges).
10₧ (or up to 13₧) Animated Underbanner/Userbar: same as above, but can be up to 3 frames long. Transition animations such as fades, slides, etc. are not counted as frames, only changes in words and items/pics are. You may request pretty much any kind of animation (dissolving, sliding, fading, spinning, scrolling, etc.), but you can only have one type of animation per transition (and only one transition per frame). Note that each transition adds 1₧ to the cost!
12₧ Simple Animated Emoticon: same as a regular emote, but you can have a simple animation for it - such as blinking eyes, a moving mouth, a twinkling sparkle, shaking a sword, etc.
17₧ Fake Award/Item: no, I will not sell you a fake award for points
. But I will make a fake award/item of your choice that you can give out to other fakers or use in your fakes . Note that the award will only be one fake item, not a whole award scroll like the type of fake awards I give people. You can also request an item fake even if it is not used as an award! I will provide inventory and GE versions of the item.
20₧ (or up to 33₧) Long Animated Underbanner/Userbar: same as a regular animated underbanner, but it may be up to 10 frames/slides long (transitions still work the same way). Note that each transition adds 1₧ to the cost! Also, every 3 frames adds 1₧ to the cost!
20₧ (or as low as 4₧) (or up to 30₧) Custom Desktop Icon (.ICO File Format): the type of icon you see on your desktop shortcuts or representing files. There is no real maximum size, but I'll only make one as large as 256x256 pixels so it is compatible with Windows 7 and earlier Windows systems. The average icon size is 48x48, and the mini-icon size is 16x16. The icon can be anything you want, and you may want to show me a rough sketch so I get the idea of what you want. I can also make icons in Windows XP style, Windows Vista style, Macromedia MX style, Macromedia Studio 8 style, Adobe CS2 style, Adobe CS3/CS4 style (honestly, who even likes those anyways?
), Microsoft Office 2003 style, and OpenOffice.org style. I can also make icons in pretty much any style, but I know specifically how to make those style icons. I will tell you how to use this type of icon if you request it. Note that 256x256 costs 30₧, 64x64 costs 25₧, and 48x48 or below costs 20₧. Note that 16x16 costs 5₧ as it counts as a Custom Website Icon (regardless of what you use it for)! Also, if you provide me with an image to convert into an icon, I will do it for only 10₧ if it is 256x256, 7₧ if it is 64x64, and 4₧ if it is 48x48 or less. Note that I will create icons with 32 bit, 8 bit, and 4 bit versions for compatibility purposes, and I will also create 48x48, 32x32, and 16x16 versions for any icon you request, unless the size you want is smaller than those. Also, if you intend for the icons to appear in the Windows XP Start Menu, let me know and I will produce a 24x24 version as well. Finally, if you intend for the icon to be used in a toolbar which makes use of the standard toolbar icon sizes (24x24 and 16x16), tell me this specifically. Note that regardless of how many versions of the same icon I produce (all the different resolutions and color depths), they will all be packaged in a single ICO file.
23₧+ Complex Animated Emoticon: same as a regular emote, but you can have a long and complex animation to it, such as two emotes fighting or having a conversation, an emote morphing into a different emote or something else, or generally anything that I would consider more than a simple animation. Note that the price increases based on the complexity of your request!
26₧ (or up to 500₧) Custom Pixel Font: if you can provide me with screenshots of a pixel font from any game, I will create a font for it. Pixel fonts cannot have antialiasing, and you have to provide me with enough characters for at least an uppercase or lowercase alphabet. If you are missing a few letters, I will do my best to compensate. Note that each character costs 1₧, and I will not do any more than 500 characters or any less than a full alphabet (26 characters in the Latin alphabet).
39₧ (or up to 750₧) Custom Smooth Font: if you can provide me with screenshots of a font, or sketch some letters yourself, I will create a font for it. Smooth fonts will have antialiasing, and you have to provide me with enough characters for at least an uppercase or lowercase alphabet. If you are missing a few letters, I will do my best to compensate. Note that each character costs 1.5₧ (rounded up), and I will not do any more than 500 characters or any less than a full alphabet (26 characters in the Latin alphabet).
49₧ (or as low as 26₧) Custom Cursor Set: same as a regular custom cursor, but I will do the whole set of 15 Windows cursors. For each cursor that you provide me an image of, you will receive a discount of 1.5₧ (rounded up).
65₧ Desktop Background: a background for your desktop made in any size you wish (or in multiple sizes, for no additional fee), made using the Pen Tool, filters, textures, and overlaying techniques. Use of the Brush tool will be limited unless I do it in Photoshop. You can provide a sketch of what you want, or tell me a certain theme to make. I will not do something complex, such as drawing a person, but I will accept renders or .blend models to incorporate into the background. I am willing to provide a Fireworks PNG or Photoshop PSD if you request, in addition to the JPEG copy.
85₧ "Professional" YouTube Background: the same as a Desktop Background, but designed specifically to match your YouTube channel's current module setup. The background will look incorporated with your channel in most browsers. It is recommended that you move your Comments and Recent Activity modules to the bottom, as I cannot predict the heights of those modules and thus will either continue the background's boxes perpetually or gradient fade to a color at that point, to prevent inconsistency. I may also suggest colors for your channel's font and wrappers if you wish, and you may specify any buttons or unchanging text fields to put emphasis on. I will ensure that the finished product remains under YouTube's 256KB maximum, but the JPEG quality will thus be lower with the increasing complexity of your request. Again, I am willing to provide a Fireworks PNG or Photoshop PSD if you request.
Custom RuneScape Modeling*: Note that the prices here can vary quite a bit. I primarily charge on how detailed a thing you want me to model is, as well as how many materials/textures it has, and whether you want me to do rigging for poseability. As always, I will discuss the price with you beforehand, so you can change your mind if you find out it's more expensive than you thought, or order more if it turns out cheaper than you thought.
18₧† (or as low as 15₧) (or up to 20₧) Custom Item: a simple, low-poly item based on the sort of items you see in the inventory, the ground, and the GE. I will provide versions with and without texture, as well as GE and inventory renders. If you use Blender (or compatible 3D modelers), it may be worth it to choose this as opposed to the Fake Award/Item above! Note that textures cost 2₧ extra! Also, if you want me to model an existing item, it is a discount of 1₧! Providing a dropped image° of that item can be a discount of another 2₧!
20₧+ (or as low as 10₧): Scenery Object or Wall/Door: anything that is nonliving but not an item. It will have textures. The price may vary based on its complexity. Also, if you want it to be a model of something existing in RS, provide screenshots° - each angle is a discount of 2₧ (up to 5 angles, including top-view, for 10₧ off)!
???₧† (minimum of 15₧, average of 25₧) Custom Equipment Item: similar to a Custom Item (above), but more detailed. Note that "equipment" items can also include a character's default clothing and hair/beard. RuneScape does not use the same model for the equipped versions of an item as it does for the inventory/ground/GE versions. This one does come with textures, and you may choose whether it is for a male or female character. If you want several pieces of equipment for a character, see the next reward category (Human(oid) Character), as you can likely save ₧. The price will vary based on the item's complexity. For example, the base cost of a Bronze Dagger would be 20₧, which would be the same for Leather Boots or Barrows Gloves. A Bronze Platebody, however, would cost 25₧. Something with as many textures and as much complexity as a Chaotic Longsword will have a base cost of 30₧. Something as complex as the default clothing "Nettle-weave Jacket" (the Herblore-themed default top) would be around 40₧. Note that generally, leg and body armor will cost more than anything else. For an additional 3₧, I'll make the simpler inventory/ground/GE version as well. Also, you may want it rigged so it can be used on a character - this will cost an additional 10₧ if it is for the body or legs, or 5₧ if it is for a cape or amulet, but the rigging will be free for any other equipment slot. Also, certain items, such as a whip, may need complex rigging even though they are for the hand slot - I will tell you how much it will cost in this case. Also, if you want me to model an existing item, it is a discount of 2₧ per different-angled screenshot° provided (max of 2 angles plus dropped version, for a discount of 5₧).
???₧† (minimum of 20₧, average of 60₧ for human players) Human(oid) Character: a model of a human or humanoid RS character, with textures and a full rig (note that this is a generic rig I made and it will not vary between characters). You must provide me at least a front-view screenshot, and may provide additional side-view, back-view, and top-view screenshots as well. You can also choose for a custom character, but you must provide at least a front and side view sketch (sketches, as opposed to screenshots, will offer no discount). The base cost of the character will vary heavily based on their complexity. It is much easier to predict the base price of an RS player or player-like human character. If you would like a player or player-like character, the cost will be based on the costs specified above for Custom Equipment Items. Essentially, the base cost will be 20₧, plus the base cost of each equipment item minus 18₧ each, plus half the costs of each item's rigging. Sorry if this is all confusing! I will tell you what the expected cost of something is if you show me what it is you want me to make! Note that each view° you provide (excluding the mandatory front-view) is worth a discount of 3₧, allowing you to save up to 12₧! Note that you can also save 2₧ on any equipment item if you provide a close-up pic of it! Also, although I consider all humanoids under this category, you may see a significantly larger price if your model requires something that cannot use my base human rig and mesh, such as the Gorajo or some of the Mahjarrat.
80₧‡+ (or as low as 64₧ - or possibly even as low as 15₧‡) Monster/Animal Character: a model of any RS character which is not humanoid (dwarves, elves, and Mahjarrat (when in bipedal form) are humanoid!), with textures. Same as the above. Note that each extra view° you provide (excluding the mandatory one) is worth a discount of 4₧! Also note that the price may increase based on the complexity of the creature. If you want the character rigged, it may cost up to another 25₧! Please look at the bottom of this page (‡) for information on far cheaper prices!
???₧ (minimum of 20₧) Custom RuneScape Area: an entire RuneScape-style area. The price of this is heavily dependent on the size of the area and the complexity of it, and thus no concrete prices can be established. It is highly recommended that you provide a map, or at least sketches, of the area you want. The terrain will be made as a grid, with each tile equaling one Blender unit, and scenery, characters, and items will be scaled respectively. I can insert any existing Blender models into the scene for no additional fee, so you can provide me with your own models. The cost will be based on what the respective Scenery, Character, and Item objects would have cost individually, plus the size and complexity of the terrain.
* Modeling will be done in Blender, a free 3D graphics program. I will upload a .BLEND file, or any format which Blender 2.5 can export to (.DAE, .3DS, .FBX, .MDD, .OBJ, .PLY, or .X3D). Because Blender is a very complex program, I may help you a little with navigation controls, but, beyond linking you to some tutorials, I will not teach you how to model. Learning how to navigate in Blender is simple, so, if you buy a Custom RuneScape area, I will show you how to get good camera angles to use it in your fakes - thus, you don't need to understand modeling at all to buy and use some of these! Also note that if you wish for me to improve upon a model, I can only import .DAE, .DVH, .3DS, .OBJ, or .MDD, and note that importing/exporting models to different formats may cause a loss in information such as textures, rigs, and animations. For best results, use these models in Blender 2.5 Alpha or above, and provide me any models you wish for me to use in this format as well.
° Note that when I say providing screenshots is a discount, I mean you should take the screenshots yourself. In addition to the pics you give me, I may do a search on the internet (particularly at the RuneScape Wiki) for some more images to help me. That means that if you do give me such an image, and I go searching for more images and find that the image you gave me was off the internet, that really doesn't help me, so you won't get a discount for it!
† For models which are shaped the same as other items, but are differently colored (compare a Saradomin Brew (4) to a Vial of Water), I will charge only 1₧ for the simple recolor. However, I will ask you if you'd prefer to do the recolor yourself anyhow, and provide you the existing base model for free. Note that for Human(oid) Character orders, if I already have an item or alternate-color version of an item, I will use that or recolor it with absolutely no increase to the cost at all.
‡ For non-humanoid characters, depending on what you want, I can offer a substantial discount even if you want it rigged. If the animal you want is something simple, like a small bird or fish, it may actually be less complex than an equipment item or even inventory item. If the model is meant to be really simple, I won't charge you anything ludicrous - the main reason I have a default price set so high for non-humans is in case someone wants the Pest Queen or something. But in general, a very basic model will not be anywhere near 80₧+, and may even be as low as 15₧ if all you wanted was a small butterfly or something!
