Reniel Cabral, Gawad Chanselor sa Natatanging Mag-aaral 2014

Reniel Cabral, a PhD candidate from the Complex Systems Team (CX-Team) of the Instrumentation Physics Laboratory (IPL) received the prestigious Gawad Chanselor sa Natatanging Mag-aaral (Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Student) in the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) for 2014.

Cabral joined the IPL as a student researcher in 2006, and is now on his third year of PhD studies. He has done research on ecological modeling, agent-based modeling, fisheries, and coastal governance with his adviser, Dr. May Lim, and collaborators from the Marine Science Institute (MSI) in the UPD.

The awarding ceremonies were held on 21 February 2014 at the Malcolm Hall Auditorium.
