Master's Examination of IPL Members
Three M.S. Physics students from the Instrumentation Physics Laboratory (IPL) will present their findings and defend their Master's Thesis on 24 and 29 March, 2014.
James Christopher S. Pang, working under Dr. Johnrob Bantang of the Complexity Science (CS) Group, will present his work Single Hodgkin-Huxley neuron Dynamics and Its Implications to Coupled and Noisy Neurons on 24 March 2014, 10:00 AM, at NIP F208.
Michael Lawrence G. Castañares will defend his thesis, Growth of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Yeast Cells Under Broadband Light, on the same day, 24 March 2014, 1:00 PM at the NIP F209. His thesis adviser is Dr. Giovanni Tapang from the Synchronization and BioOptics group.
Finally, on 29 March 2014, 10:00 AM, Jen-Jen A. Manuel will present the results of her work with Dr. Bantang on the Impact of Land Use to the Coast of Abra de Ilog. The examination will be at NIP F209.
