The work of Dr. Maricor Soriano and her team from the Video and Image Processing Group (VIP) of the Instrumentation Physics Laboratory (IPL) on the assessment of the damage on the Tubbataha Reef has been cited in the news. The project, Automated Rapid Reef Assessment System (ARRAS), was done in collaboration with scientists from the UP Marine Science Institute (MSI).[2013 Rappler]
