How to find a bike

Biking is by far the easiest - and the most Dutch - way to get around in Utrecht. there are many shops where you can buy a new or used bicycle. You can also check the ING Google Group, second hand bikes are frequently offered for sale there.

If you don't want to worry about buying (and selling) a bike, you can also consider renting one from Swapfiets. For about 17 euro per month you can rent a city bike, including locks and a 48 hour repair service.

If you would only like to use a bike occasionally, you may want to check out OV-fiets or Donkey Republic.

If you have to move some goods (or kids), you can find Cargoroo e-cargo bikes (in Dutch: bakfiets) in many areas of Utrecht.
