While this website provides extensive amount of financial and share prices data of the companies listed at the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the data is in original form as obtained from the primary sources. That means that the data needs proper cleaning, matching, and organizing before it can be used in any statistical or financial of analysis.
Realizing that some researchers might not have the luxury of sufficient time, we provide paid help in collecting, organizing, and cleaning various types of financial and non-financial data of companies. The following data can be arranged for the mentioned prices.

The data we collect and share it through www.OpenDoors.pk requires lot of efforts, time, and money in some cases as we pay for collecting and organizing hard to find data. To sustain all these efforts and to ensure economic viability of this service, paid data service is a good way forward. Thus, your payment finances availability of other hard to find data. This means that paying for data not only enables you to get organized data, but also serves as contribution from your side toward the researchers community.
1. Financial Statements Data (Non-Financial Firms) (1-FSDN)
Financial statement data from 1996 till 2017 for all non-financial firms.
The format in which we provide data is ready for any desired analysis.
The data is arranged in long format, that is suitable for any type of statistical software
Company identifiers include both companies names and PSX assigned symbols
Numeric identifiers for industrial classification are included
For a consecutive frequency of 8 years, we charge Rs. 5000 for this data, maximum variables limit is 8, beyond that Rs. 1000 for each additional variable. Out of the eight variables, first three are the company name, company symbol, and time variable.
2. Financial Statements Data (Financial Firms) (2-FSDF)
Financial statement data from 2006 till 2017 for all financial firms including banks and non-banks.
The format in which we provide data is ready for any desired analysis.
The data is arranged in long format, that is suitable for any type of statistical software
Company identifiers include both companies names and PSX assigned symbols
Numeric identifiers for industrial classification are included
Number of bank branches data
For a consecutive frequency of 8 years, we charge Rs. 5000 for this data, maximum variables limit is 8, beyond that Rs. 1000 for each additional variable. Out of the eight variables, first three are the company name, company symbol, and time variable.
3. Share Prices Data (3-SPD)
Daily share prices data from 1999 till 2018 for all financial and non-financial firms
Karachi Stock Exchange 100-Index data, matched with each firm on the basis of trading dates
Trading volume, open price, closing price, highest prices, lowest prices
The data is arranged in long format, that is suitable for any type of statistical software
Company identifiers include both companies names and KSE assigned symbols
Numeric identifiers for industrial classification are included
For a consecutive frequency of 8 years, we charge Rs. 6000 for this data, maximum variables limit is 8, beyond that Rs. 1000 for each additional variable. Out of the eight variables, first three are the company name, company symbol, and time variable.
4. Industry Level Financial and Share Prices Data (4-ILF)
Both financial and share prices data at the industry level can be arranged
The financial and share prices data for industry level can be matched on any frequency such as monthly, quarterly, daily, or yearly
Trading volumes with share prices data at the industry level
For a consecutive frequency of 8 years, we charge Rs. 5000 for this data, maximum variables limit is 8, beyond that Rs. 1000 for each additional variable. Out of the eight variables, first three are the company name, company symbol, and time variable.
5. Initial Public Offering (IPO) Data of PSX Listed Firms (5-IPOa)
Initial Public Offering data of firms listed at the Pakistan Stock Exchange available from 1982-2018
Total number of IPOs are 226 as of this date (October 30, 2018)
IPO date and other details such as:
Share premium/discount values at the IPO date
Over/under subscription data of each IPO
Face value per share
Company names, symbols, and industry information
We charge Rs. 5000 for the above data, however, the above data can be further augmented with:
Subsequent share price information, post-IPO share prices history, and dividends history, financial statements data such as book value per share, assets, liabilities, returns, etc., for all such additional information, we charge Rs. 5000 more. This additional information will be matched with the IPO data on any given criteria such as dates etc.
6. Ownership Structure Data (6-OSD)
We have a comprehensive coverage of ownership structure and corporate governance data of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX, formally known as the Karachi Stock Exchange KSE) listed firms on the following variables. The data is available from 2003 until 2017.
Total Shares of a company
Number of shares owned by directors, their spouses, and children
Number of shares owned by the company executives
Number of shares owned by the first largest shareholder
Number of shares owned by the second largest shareholder
Number of shares owned by the third largest shareholder
Number of shares owned by the fourth largest shareholder
Number of shares owned by the fifth largest shareholder
Number of shares owned by associated companies
Number of shares owned by mutual funds
Number of shares owned by pension funds
Number of shares owned by investment companies
Number of shares owned by modaraba companies
Number of shares owned by charitable trusts
Number of shares owned by public sector companies or joint stock companies
Number of shares owned by general public or local individuals
Number of shares owned by foreign companies
The presences/absence of an audit committee
CEO duality
Name of the CEO

For a range of five years, we charge Rs. 1000 for each of the above variables per 100 companies

We charge Rs. 5000 for this series, however, we can arrange share prices data and market index data for event studies, matching the two data sets for use in event studies where estimation and event windows need data to be arranged date wise around the announcement dates. This additional data management and arrangement will cost Rs. 8000

Any five variables from this series are available for Rs. 6000. Any additional variable is available for Rs. 1000 per variable.
