                                                     Fall message to Illinois Division Chapter Officers

  1. A reminder ----- look for correspondence from the Illinois Division from this email address--gary.s.struck@209880946.mailchimpapp.com  The recent newsletter, the Illini Ike, came from that address. Please open it.

 2. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 30. The IWLA national staff will be presenting a       webinar, providing an overview of the tools, materials, and other resources available for chapter leaders to help manage chapter operations. There will be presentations at 11:00 noon and 6 pm Central time that day.

3. Chapters cannot endorse a candidate for a political office or post political signs on chapter property. Chapters may invite a candidate to speak if all parties are invited.

4.  The “find a local chapter page” is one of the most visited pages on the IWLA national website. Since June, the national staff has been inviting chapters to provide updates to these profiles. The deadline for providing these updates has been extended to November 4. Visit the national website for more information about simple steps to update chapter profiles. 5.  The Illini Ike is the Illinois Division newsletter. The deadline for submittals to the next edition is November 9. There is still time to submit articles and photos of activities in your chapter. Look for the winter edition in your email the last week in November.

6.  The next Illinois Division State Directors meeting will be held on Saturday, December 7, at the Starved Rock Lodge in Utica, Illinois. Pleas ensure your chapter is represented.
