The Iowa Youth Symposium is a Model UN conference hosted by Iowa high school advisors at the Capitol building in Des Moines each fall. This conference focuses on the creation of a position paper and the writing of formal resolutions for topics related to issues faced by the United Nations. Schools represent the United States' point of view for this conference.

The 2025 Iowa Youth Symposium will take place Wednesday, October 29th, and Thursday, October 30th at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines.
Registration will be open from October 1 - 15, 2025.
Payments are due in full and must be postmarked by October 22nd.
No refunds will be issued after the deadline.
