The Iowa Youth Symposium is a two-day Model UN conference hosted by Iowa high school advisors at the Capitol building in Des Moines each fall. This conference focuses on the creation of a position paper and the writing of formal resolutions for topics related to issues faced by the United Nations. Schools represent the United States' point of view for this conference.

The 2026 Iowa Youth Symposium will take place on Wednesday, October 28th, and Thursday, October 29th at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines.
Pre-registration for the conference will be open from August 1, 2026 to September 11, 2026.
